Sonja manages to steal the coveted page and to rendezvous with Karanthes, as Conan pursues her. After fighting an inconclusive dual (he is level 10 at this time - he had slightly better attack bonuses (1 greater than Sonja), but her defensive skills were superior - expertise), an eerie raptor (a disguised Stygian wizard) steals the page for Thoth Amon. Giving chase, Conan, Sonja, and Belit found themselves in a city conjured out of time, where they survived a perilous encounter with King Kull, Atlantean born ruler of long dead Velusian. Conan slew the Stygian and the time-tossed city fades; but the trio returned to Karanthes empty handed, for the wizard, in dying, had destroyed the page. Sonja parted company and continued her journey toward Venzia.
Combat
She continues to battle with style and grace. She is wearing the 'armor' she is famous for - the chain mail bikini (her AC drops to 15). This does not add any actual armor value, but is distracting for opponents, and gives her extreme freedom of movement.
