Nithtalitor is one of an elite group of mind flayer assassins. He works on the surface world as part of the cults started in order to brainwash human thralls to begin the journey as Illithidkin. With his robe of blending and ring of chameleon power, he is often difficult to see. He has a wrinkled, black splotch on the right side of his face where an enemy hit him with acid several years ago, and one hand's coloration is distinctly different than the other; a paladin had severed his right hand fourteen years ago, and he had another ("donated" from a fallen illithid) grafted on as a replacement. He is a member of the Ariser Creed, and believes mind flayers should come up out of the ground, and learn to live with the sunlight and dominate everything to be found. He works heavily with thralls, and often uses them for his assassinations. He, like Absterator, has several clones of himself stored away in support tanks. If he believes he will die, Nithtalitor will send his mind and life force into one of his clones and, thus, will be resurrected.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the mind flayer must hit a small
to large critter with its tentacle attack. If it gets a hold, it attaches
the tentacle to the opponent's head. After a successful grab, it can try
to attach its remaining tentacles with a single grapple check
.
Extract (Ex): A mind flayer that begins its turn with all four tentacles
attached and successfully maintains its hold automatically extracts the
opponent's brain, instantly killing the creature.
Telepathy (Su): Mind flayers can communicate telepathically with any
creature within 100 feet that has a language.
