Siihuassasho'iosh works as a sacrificial attendant in the temples of Merrshaulk.
He looks forward to the day he is made a member of the Second Circle and recreated
into a human-headed abomination (although he worries about the loss of his arms).
He looks human from the waist up, although his skin is scaled and leathery.
From the waist down he all snake, with copper coloring and dark diamond-shaped
areas down his back. He is muscular, and wears serpent armor when going into
combat. Otherwise he wears clerical vestments. He is bald, for he shaves his
head ritually every day. His voice is pleasant, so he is often given the role
of lead chanter in many of the ceremonies he participates in. He enjoys causing
chaos and destruction, and often brews potions laced with the addictive white
resin to be sold in human communities. He is enamored of the jungle, and likes
to walk among the trees whenever he is free from duty.
In combat he likes to cast Deeper Darkness first, followed by Divine
Favor. He will then attack from the protection of the darkness.
Spell-like Abilities: 2/day - Animal Trance, Cause Fear, Deeper
Darkness, Entangle, Neutralize poison, Suggestion, Polymorph Other. (8th
Level Sorcerer DC15+Spell Level)
Psionics (Sp): All Yuan-Ti can produce the following effects
at will.
Detect Poison: As the spell cast by a 6th-level sorcerer.
Alternate Form: The yuan-ti can assume the
form of a Tiny to Large viper. This ability is similar to a shapechange spell
cast by a 19th-level sorcerer but allows only viper forms. A yuan-ti in alternate
form uses its most powerful poison attack if it has two.
Chameleon Power: Yuan-ti can change their coloration
to match their surroundings.
Produce Acid: The yuan-ti can exude acid from
its body, dealing 1d6 points of damage to anything it touches. The acid becomes
inert when it leaves the yuan-ti's body.
Aversion: The yuan-ti creates a compulsion
effect targeting one creature within 30 feet. The subject must succeed at a
Will save (DC 19) or gain an aversion to snakes for 10 minutes. Affected subjects
must stay at least 20 feet from any snake or yuan-ti, alive or dead; if already
within 20 feet, they move away. A subject can overcome the compulsion by succeeding
at another DC 19 Will save, but still suffers deep anxiety. This caused a -4
reduction to Dex until the effect wears off or the subject is no longer within
20 feet of a snake or yuan-ti. This ability is otherwise similar to antipathy
as cast by a 16th-level sorcerer.
Skills: Yuan-ti using chameleon power receive a +8 circumstance
bonus to Hide checks.
Constrict (Ex): A halfblood deals 1d6+3 points of damage with a successful
grapple check against medium or smaller creatures.
Sticks to Snakes (Sp): Once per day, Siihuassasho'iosh can transform
1½d4+12 sticks (arrows, torches, staffs, etc) into snakes with this empowered
ability. See Savage Species, page 98 for more details.
Snake Darts (Sp): Siishilsenessin has ritual tattooing of snakes
on his arms. Three times per day as a standard action, he can launch these
tattoos against opponents of medium range, hitting automatically, dealing 2d6
points of damage, plus poison (Fort DC 14, 1d6 Con damage primary and secondary
damage). Twice per day, this ability can be empowered to increase all damage
by one half.
