            She walked toward the group, slipping her thin robe to the ground as she sashayed over.  It slid off slowly, revealing first one breast and then the next.  Her stomach and hips were next to be revealed, then all of her womanly charms were open for public viewing.  Her body was perfect.  Smallish, but pert breasts, a washboard stomach, legs that seemed to go on forever.  Like most elves, she had no hair on her body, except on her head, and that was blonde and flowing.  Seth turned a deeper red and tried to avert his eyes.  Shanagra, however, drank in her breasts and smooth crotch with his eyes like a dehydrated man.
            Who are you?” 
            The winged lady, looking like a young girl with fluffy white wings, stopped, totally nude, in front of them all.  She smiled and said, “I am Sharyss.”  Seth continued to try to avert his eyes, but did a poor job at it.  The winged lady’s white skin, pink nipples, and the soft cleft of her crotch drew his attention almost as aptly as it did Shanagra’s.
            “We don't need no kisses here, lady,” said Issic, unmoved by her nudity.
            She smiled and said, “Please come with me.”
            “Come where?” 
            “To the temple of pleasure,” said the nude winged girl.


Kara Sharyss, a servant of Larbius the Gelugon, is an erinyes who seduces men and women to take their souls to Hell.  Sharyss seeks to tempt mortal into depravity.  Incredibly beautiful, her feathery wings are the only indication of her devilish origins.  She is very adept at tempting mortals.  She frequently travels to Inzeladun unsummoned.  She is naturally 6’0” tall, but can vary her height.  She is one of the rare devilish spell casters and is a 6th level sorceress.   Her spells are of a decidedly sexual nature.  Although she sometimes dresses in her magical courtesan's garb, she often just walks around naked.  Often she masquerades as a celestial or a member of the winged folk.  See Unknown Adventures 6, 6.5, 7, and 8 for more details.  Her natural hair color is a dark auburn, but she often changes its color to suit her moods.

According to the infamous "Anophistograph of Hell," her career began as a spinagon (spined devil) named Kriwarg, serving as a messenger for the pit fiend Malkin Simmurg.  Ambition drove Kriwarg  to be promoted to a kocrachon, and it worked hard at its duties.  Eventually it was promoted to a red abishai, and took the name Karawarg Sharusk.  After several tours of duty in the Blood War, serving under Warfang, Karawarg was indeed promoted to kocrachon status.  Serving as a diabolic torturer for 223 years in the service of Dispater, Karaw Sharis was finally promoted to become an erinyes named Kara Sharyss.  Assigned to work with Larbius the Ice Devil, she reports only to the Dark Eight and the Lords of Hell.  She has been offered promotion to hamatula status, as well as amnizu status, but so far she has refused promotion, preferring to remain in the role of mortal temptress.  

Spell-Like Abilities: At will: greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only), charm monster (DC 23) , minor image (DC 21), unholy blight (DC 23). These abilities are as the spells cast by an 18th-level sorcerer (save DC 19 + spell level). 

Entangle (Ex): Each erinyes carries a stout rope some 50 feet long that entangles opponents of any size as an animate rope spell cast by a 16th-level sorcerer. The erinyes can hurl the rope 30 feet with no range penalty.

Summon Devil (Sp): Once per day an erinyes can attempt to summon 2d10 lemures with a 50% chance of success, or 1d4 barbazu with a 35% chance of success.

See in Darkness (Su): Erinyes can see perfectly in darkness of any kind, even that created by deeper darkness spells.

Telepathy (Su): Erinyes can communicate telepathically with any creature within 100 feet that has a language.

True Seeing (Su): She continuously uses true seeing as the spell (caster level 20)

Alternate Form (Su): She can assume any humanoid form of Small to Large size as a standard action. This ability is similar to the polymorph self spell but allows only humanoid forms.  While using this ability, Sharyss gains a +10 circumstance bonus to Disguise checks.

Fiend's Favor (Su): Once per day, a fiend of corruption can grant a touched critter a +3 bonus to one of the critter's ability score, stacking with any other bonus, lasting for one day.  When the effect expires, the creature takes a -3 penalty to the same ability score for the next day.  Another application of fiend's favor not only negates the penalty, but restores the full bonus.  Fiends of corruption are quite free with this gift at first, then the price gets higher and higher until power hungry characters are willing to do just about anything in return.

Suggestion (Sp): She has the ability to use suggestion three times per day.  The saving throw DC is 23, as a 12th level sorcerer.  If the victim is already charmed by the fiend, the victim takes a -2 penalty to the save.

Mind Shielding (Su): A fiend of corruption is immune to detect thought, discern lies, and any attempt to magically discern its alignment.

Mark of Justice (Sp): Once a victim is living an immoral life, the fiend uses mark of justice to ensure the victim does not return to her old ways or seek atonement.

Fiendish Graft (Su): Once per month, a fiend of corruption can bestow a fiendish graft of symbiont on a willing mortal.

Major Creation (Sp): She can use major creation three times per day as a 6th level sorcerer to offer concrete temptation to mortals whose tastes run to material wealth and finery.

Geas (Sp): She can use geas/quest once per day.

Temptation (Su): She has the ability to offer good creatures the opportunity to change their alignment to evil, working like the redemption of temptation function of the atonement spell, and she can use this ability whenever the opportunity arises.

Grant Wish (Sp): She can grant a wish to a mortal once per day, costing her experience points as if casting the spell, often using it as part of a soul bargain (see below).

Soul Bargain (Su): She can enter into a binding agreement with a mortal at the cost of the mortal's soul.  The mortal victim must enter into the soul bargain willingly.  See Fiend Folio, page 204 for more details.

Spells: Sharyss is a 6th level sorceress.  She can cast six zero level spells, seven first level spells, six second level spells, and four third level spells per day.
