A portal opened near the Guardians and two Cornugon, horned devils, flew out, carrying Dovinyae the Druid.  He was frozen and in pain.   The Cornugon dropped him before the Guardians, then returned through the portal.
Sensing his distress, Amren used the Silver Ring to heal the damaged mind of DovinyaeDovinyae stood and declared himself as a paladin and he requested his sword.  The Silver Dragon surrendered Sir Xavier’s Holy Purifier to the new paladin of the Silver Tree.
The Guardians needed to get to Golgaryllgar.  How to do it?  Daragru suggested looking for some sort of portal.  The Guardians thought that an impractical solution.  They decided to use their ship, get to the edge, then use Amren’s Staff of Killren to move everybody into the Etheral Plane and then pass through the storm and perhaps the ghosts would leave them be.  Unfortunately, the Sea of Storms is several hundred miles long.  They did not know exactly where Golgaryllgar was and they would not have the time to search over thousands of square miles of haunted ocean in an attempt to find an island.  There might be several islands in the Sea of Storms.  It was decided they would go to Dreamland.  Once there, Daragru, with his oineromantic knowledge, would lead them to Orm, a wayplace for dreamers.  Perhaps someone there would know how to find Golgaryllgar.
In dreamworld they found themselves on a fast moving river.  The Guardians used Dreamslayer to pass them into the Lake of UlnOrm was on its banks.  In Orm, they visited a Tavern and heard of a local cartographer.  Visiting the cartographer, Dovinyae acquired many maps, one of which was of Golgaryllgar of the Second Age of Man.  Using that map and finding some common points of reference with the modern maps of Inzeladun, they were able to hazard a guess as to where Golgaryllgar, a former volcano, lay as an island.
In dreamland they met Pogo, a jester with a monkey on his back.  Pogo accompanied the Guardians when they left dreamland.
In the real world of Inzeladun, the Guardians approached the Sea of Storms.  On the edge of the Sea was a small dinghy.  In the dinghy was a man.  The man had tried to break through the Sea, but his entire ship was lost.  He was the only survivor of that ill-fated attempt.  The Guardians gathered on the dinghy and the dreamship was folded up.  The Staff of Killren transfered them into the ethereal plane and they passed into the Storm.
Because of the Ring of the Silver Tree, the ghosts let them pass unmolested and they reached the shores of Golgaryllgar.
They climbed the mountains that ringed the island and entered the interior.  They fought several dionychus and Ragnar managed to slay a Tyrannosaurus.
They found, after several days of hot travel through the jungle, the ruins of Queen Tsareth’s palace.  Luckily for them, Queen Tsareth's palace was on the other end of the island than the Yuan Ti capital, where mind flayers were meeting and negotiating en masse. The party met a ranger en route to the palace.  They also found a new hole dug out of the ground.  Unfortunately the corridor was filled with brown mold and this nearly drained all of the heat and the life out of the Guardians.  They exited back out and cast an ice storm down the hole after Alrek, using his Amulet of the Twilight, determined that cold was the weakness of this brand of mold.
Down the stairs they found a large chamber.  Going through the door they were attacked by a guardian stone golem.   Amren killed the golem with his Purify Earth spell.  The next chamber was guarded by a blade golem which Alrek destroyed with his Gae Bolga.  The sand golem that was in the next chamber was destroyed by Dovinyae the Paladin.  A dragon guarded the next chamber and was killed by Alrek.
Down a massive flight of stairs they went and they entered an impossibly huge cavern.  And in that cavern sat the city of Catemar.
The wall surrounding the city was protected by a massive blade barrier so they entered with a passwall spell.  Once inside they headed for the Temple of Grindill.  Daragru was looking forward to entering the Temple.  The wealth of information contained in that edifice must be staggering.  They defeated a dozen common guardsmen as they moved through the town to the Temple.  The city was cracked and broken from its transfer from Indor to Golgaryllgar which made movement slow, but easier to be hidden.
They reached the Temple and battled the well trained temple guards.  Defeating them they went into the temple and fought and killed eleven priests.  Daragru and Amren purified the earth under the temple floor and then the building was set on fire.
Grindill’s High Priest, Hebel, looked at the flames from his mansion and hate brewed in his soul for the destruction of the priceless tomes kept in that temple.

The characters were awarded 40,000 exp.

Current Events :  Due the quickness of the Guardian’s assault, Grindill stepped up his plans.  He cast the second spell in the series of seven that he needs to have cast by the last day of the Sixth Year.  He considers himself very fortunate that the Guardians left Indor.  Had they been quicker about attacking Catemar, he could have been terminally delayed.  Now he just has to keep them out of Indor again so that they don’t get a second chance.  Grindill has given the Latipac Device to one of his priests to control the weather around the Guardians so that they would have no more storms to use.  Disappointed in the Angels of Yam ibn Saud, Grindill is considering terminating the relationship he has with Yam ibn Saud.
Kherit has sent an ambassador to Itsitlawikanah to find out more about the Guardians and their activities from Samadhi.  The Khemian ambassador seems intent on seducing the arch mage to get the information.  Kherit has begun gathering stones for some sort of altar.
Sir Raloth has uncovered hellish information on the infernal alliances of Grindill.
Notes on the Temple of Grindill:  This Temple was a store house of Grindill’s plans and efforts for his priests.  A copy of the Nan Curinir, the Indorian Recension, was kept here.  Grindill also kept books stolen from the Tower that detailed Defiling methods and Geomancy methods and spells.  Of course all of these were destroyed by the Guardians when they burnt the temple down.
