Barbarian
Lord Komaaks was a 7'10" half
ogre warrior. A Champion of Chaos, he began his career in Indor,
where he slew a tribe of goblins. Traveling to Ingara, Lord Komaaks
became Kozad Jardak, the leader of an Orc Tribe. He began his quest
of unifying the Orcish tribes. He became the scourge of Ingara as
his Orcs captured and destroyed city after city. Any subjugated
peoples became Orcs. Here in Ingara he met Thigru Thorkisen and the
warlock became Komaaks' first henchman. Traveling out of Ingara (the
Ingaran armies were getting too hot to catch him), Komaaks traveled
through the unruly, random city states that lied between Ingara and
Drychtnoth. En route, he found a deck of many things that summoned a
fourth level warrior to serve as his henchman. This was Tregillish (Tregannish)
Mul. In Drychtnoth, Komaaks joined the military and
Thigru received training as a warlord. Moving from Drychtnoth,
Komaaks went into Nyandar and managed to usurp the throne. He freed
the Winged Folk in that nation, acquiring the adoration of the Winged Folk
people and gaining Lacjasu Rual Eralla, a warrior/illusionist, as a
henchman. At this time, Troonanhkset of Khemt, a priest of Set,
joined with the half-ogre king of Nyandar. Lord Komaaks slew a red
dragon in Nyandar and took as a prize an egg. He hatched Xorquarthat
the dragon. Troonanhkset aged the dragon, and Xorquarthat served
Lord Komaaks as a steed for many years, replacing his favorite
elephant. Lord Komaaks abdicated his throne and traveled down south
again and rebuilt his Orcish army and began conquering the unorganized
city-states found there and founded Lamapacher, an Orcish Empire. He
also conquered Ingara. At this time he added his final henchman,
Plontzkoramir the Cavalier. Lord Komaaks battled with Silvergate for
years. He died fighting in Drychtnoth alongside his longtime rival,
King Grimhelm.
He was cloned by Groll the Time Lord and was
'resurrected' during the Seventh Age. This Komaaks also assembled an
entourage of henchmen. Lacjasu the Winged Folk returned, helping to
complete the illusion that this was the original Komaaks resurrected
(Note: The clone does not know he is a clone). Shuma the Witch
was added to replace Thigru. Kulthas the Alchemist also joined the
group.
Lord Komaaks represented anger, chaos, and violence.
He had white eyes (like the Incredible Hulk) and fangs. He was 7'10"
tall and was famous for his two handed sword, Jothstra, a +3 frost
brand. He wore plate armor and had a pair of Boots of Striding and
Springing made from woolly mammoth hide.
Combat
Lord Komaaks is
violent, and responds to most stimuli with violence. He primarily fights
with his greatsword, Jothstra, but sometimes fights with a bastard sword
(one-handed) and battle axe in two-handed combat. With his Boots of Striding and Springing,
he bounces around, leaping in and out of combat.
Fast Movement (Ex):
Lord Komaaks’ land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet.
This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium
armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the
barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn.
Rage
(Ex): Lord Komaaks can fly into a rage a certain number of times per day. In
a rage, Lord Komaaks temporarily gains a +4 bonus to Strength, a +4 bonus to
Constitution, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves, but he takes a –2 penalty
to Armor Class. The increase in Constitution increases the barbarian’s hit
points by 2 points per level, but these hit points go away at the end of the
rage when his Constitution score drops back to normal. (These extra hit points
are not lost first the way temporary hit points are.) While raging, Lord Komaaks
cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for
Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any
abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or
activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a
wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat
he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit
of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the character’s (newly
improved) Constitution modifier. Lord Komaaks may prematurely end his rage. At
the end of the rage, the barbarian loses the rage modifiers and restrictions and
becomes fatigued (–2 penalty to Strength, –2 penalty to Dexterity, can’t
charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter (unless he is a
17th-level barbarian, at which point this limitation no longer applies; see
below).
Lord Komaaks
can fly into a rage only once per encounter. At 1st level he can use his rage
ability once per day. At 4th level and every four levels thereafter, he can use
it one additional time per day (to a maximum of six times per day at 20th
level). Entering a rage takes no time itself, but Lord Komaaks can do it only
during his action, not in response to someone else’s action.
Uncanny
Dodge (Ex): At 2nd level, Lord Komaaks retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if
any) even if he is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker.
However, he still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. If Lord Komaaks
already has uncanny dodge from a different class, he automatically gains
improved uncanny dodge (see below) instead.
Trap
Sense (Ex): Starting at 3rd level, Lord Komaaks gains a +1 bonus on Reflex
saves made to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by
traps. These bonuses rise by +1 every three barbarian levels thereafter (6th,
9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level). Trap sense bonuses gained from multiple
classes stack.
Improved
Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 5th level and higher, Lord Komaaks can no longer be
flanked. This defense denies a rogue the ability to sneak attack the barbarian
by flanking him, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than
the target has barbarian levels. If a character already has uncanny dodge (see
above) from a second class, the character automatically gains improved uncanny
dodge instead, and the levels from the classes that grant uncanny dodge stack to
determine the minimum level a rogue must be to flank the character.
Damage
Reduction (Ex): At 7th level, Lord Komaaks gains Damage Reduction. Subtract
1 from the damage the barbarian takes each time he is dealt damage from a weapon
or a natural attack. At 10th level, and every three barbarian levels thereafter
(13th, 16th, and 19th level), this damage reduction rises by 1 point. Damage
reduction can reduce damage to 0 but not below 0.
Greater
Rage (Ex): At 11th level, Lord Komaaks’s bonuses to Strength and
Constitution during his rage each increase to +6, and his morale bonus on Will
saves increases to +3. The penalty to AC remains at –2.
Indomitable
Will (Ex): While in a rage, Lord Komaaks of 14th level or higher gains a +4
bonus on Will saves to resist enchantment spells. This bonus stacks with all
other modifiers, including the morale bonus on Will saves he also receives
during his rage.
Tireless
Rage (Ex): At 17th level and higher, Lord Komaaks no longer becomes fatigued
at the end of his rage.
Mighty
Rage (Ex): At 20th level, Lord Komaaks’s bonuses to Strength and
Constitution during his rage each increase to +8, and his morale bonus on Will
saves increases to +4. The penalty to AC remains at –2.

Cohorts: Thigru Thorkisen was Komaaks' first henchman. He was born in Ingara and is descended from Kronos I, pharaoh of Khemt and incarnation of Set. He wanted nothing less than to be the greatest and most powerful mage in the entire world. But the mage orders in Ingara wanted channelers, those born with an inner spark of magic. Thigru lacked this inner spark. He joined a witchcraft coven and began to learn the fine arts of magic by negotiating with supernatural power. He was one of fifty interviewed by Lord Komaaks to join him and his Orcs. Although Thigru was the least talented, Lord Komaaks chose him, probably because he was the most driven. Lord Komaaks purchased Thigru's place in the Grey Robed Order, and he learned Tower Magic. Thigru later learned defiling magic and tactics in Drychtnoth and is permitted to wear the Red Robes of the Warlords (Komaaks made sure Thigru wasn't brainwashed). Thigru gained the Codex of the Infinite Planes and was on his way to becoming the most powerful mage in the world. Thigru later broke away from the Gray Robes and founded the Blue Robed Order. After Lord Komaaks' death, Thigru joined forces with Yam ibn Saud. Thigru destroyed the Zakharan city of Qadib. Thigru died when Sprakxorclerat was destroyed, but the Twilight Gathering believes that his lich still exists as Kherit.
Tregillish Mul joined Lord Komaaks as a fourth level warrior. He was the personification of sexual perversity. He didn't like violence and avoided it whenever he could. He also hated Orcs. But he served Komaaks because Komaaks paid for him to have women. He loved women with a passion unequaled. He would paint them, draw them, and do as much as possible with them. He dined with women and tried to have women around him as much as possible. Men never saw him without his helmet due to his vanity. He was afraid of his face becoming injured. His helmet was a great helmet topped with a lion's head. Although he was very sexually experimental, and really enjoyed S&M, he would never seriously harm a woman. It was all fun and games for him, even if those games were a bit demented and/or demeaning to women. He didn't see it that way. He believed he had every right to be worshiped by women. Other than women, he hated mankind and was a very accomplished killer, although he almost never fought in a fair fight. He ALWAYS made sure he had the upper hand. He especially hated Thigru and Troonankhset. Lacjasu was the only one of Komaaks' henchmen who ever saw him without his helmet on. Although not a friend, at least Lacjasu appreciated women. Treg often bought the sculptures of women that Lacjasu would create.
Troonankhset was the snake of the group. A priest of Set, Troonankhset always affected a Khemian style of dress. He always dressed in a kalasiris (white tight-fitting linen skirt stretching from the waist to the knees), sandals laced to the knee, and a headdress adorned with the head of a snake. He typically wore an ornate pectoral collar that served as a lower coif and breast plate and armlets and bracers that collectively served as armor. His head was shaved bald and he wore a beard that was kept wrapped, Khemian-style. In battle he wore black full plate armor and had a sheild emblazoned with the red Dragon-serpent of Lamapacher. He wielded a flail in battle. Sneaky and evil, Troonankhset set the laws of Lamapacher and competed with Thigru and the other henchmen for Lord Komaaks' favor. Troonankhset did not like Thigru and vice versa. Troonankhset was eventually killed by King Grimhelm of Silvergate. His body, tranformed into silver, still stands in the ruined Castle Silvergate.Lacjasu Rual Eralla was a ravenhaired winged folk. An artist and a slayer, Lacjasu's duties and love for his lord eventually drove him insane. He led a crack team of twisted winged folk, all trained by Komaaks and Troonankhset to be killers. Troonankhset took over most of the training duties, and each of the winged folk were accomplished assassins, using their illusionists among them to get into places, slay, and leave without being detected. Out of all of Komaaks' henchmen, Lacjasu was easily the one most liked by Troonankhset, mostly because he was the most maleable. Lacjasu was also the most loyal of Lord Komaaks' henchmen (Thigru was a close second). Lacjasu wielded a Scimitar of Sharpness and a net of entrapment. When Komaaks died, Lacjasu became a bartender, but his insanity was such that he would often sneak out at night and assassinate people. He rarely remembered these episodes. Lacjasu was instrumental in the creation of the Komaaks clone, for without Lord Komaaks, Lacjasu's insanity was destroying him. An accomplished artist, he loved to sculpt. He was killed by Ammrah the wildmage during an attack on the Dwarvish homelands by the Komaaks clone.
Plontzkoramir was the last of the original Komaaks' henchmen. A cavalier, he led many of Lord Komaaks' armies, although he despised Lord Komaaks' penchant for impaling people. He did not last long with the group. Troonankhset was finally able to destroy the cavalier when he convinced Lord Komaaks to send the knight into battle against Tiamat by himself to prove his loyalty.
