Sha'a the Elf is King of the
Elves. He has lived since the Second Age of Man, and is regarded as the
Historian of Inzeladun. His history is considered to be the
definitive history of Inzeladun by scholars. He is so old, even by elven
standards, that he looks aged, which is rare for an elf. He is very
efficient and organized, but he despises rules and regulations set upon him by
others (although he always sets rules and regulations for himself). As a
gray elf, he has cat-like pupils, and often speaks elvish in a pitch higher than
humans and other demi-humans can hear.
Sha'a has several unique
allies. He has an Ancient Advanced Silver Dragon named Vorastrix Irthos
for a cohort (52 Hit Dice, Colossal + size). His familiar is a white snow
owl. In addition, he has 4,300 1st level followers, 430 2nd level
followers, 215 3rd level followers, 108 4th level followers, 54 5th level
followers, 27 6th level followers, 14 7th level followers, 7 8th level
followers, 4 9th level followers, two 10th level follower, and one 11th level
follower.
During the Second
Age, Lord
Nadam, Champion of Vale, and Sha'a the Elf undertook what is called the
Voyage. Together they
circumnavigated the continent and mapped its coasts for the first time.
The Voyage took nearly six years to complete.
He and Sha'a sold their maps to cartographers, and Sha'a, a very young
Elf, spent his money in education, learning how to read and write several Human
tongues. Later the youthful Elf
disappeared into the Unknown Lands, only to return years later with maps of the
interior.
Ollephane became the new King
of Mamon and he hired the young Sha'a to teach him philosophy and to be his
court advisor nearly a thousand years after Sha'a's trip to the interior. King
Ollephane and Sha'a attacked and destroyed Garythem the Blue Dragon and rescued
Lord Nadam (who was captured about 1100 years prior). Lord Nadam, unfamiliar with the new times, underwent new
education at the hands of his old friend, Sha'a.
Nearly 200 years later, was
granted his own kingdom, and became the first elven king of a human
nation. He ruled for centuries, later became the Lord of the Tower (during
the Third Age), and eventually returned to
Faerie (during the Fourth Age), where
he worked as an advisor to the Elf King, and, centuries later, became the Elf
King.
Sometime during the Fifth
Age,
Sha'a returned to Inzeladun and sat down to think. Several hundred years
later he was awakened by Xanath Darksword, a drow. He served at Castle
Darksword for the Seventh Age, and then returned to live among the Elves in
Faerie. He recently resumed the mantle of Elf King again. He
keeps tabs on Inzeladun through Neria Bladesinger.
Combat:
Sha'a prefers not to fight if he doesn't have to, but when he does fight, he
usually uses spells. He will never intentionally kill an elf (even a
drow), but he has no such problem killing anyone else who threatens him.
Loremaster Secrets (Ex): Secrets of Inner Strength (+1 Will saves), Dodge Trick (+1 dodge bonus to AC), Applicable Knowledge (Eschew Materials feat), Instant Mastery (+4 ranks in Decipher Script), Weapon Trick (+1 bonus to attack rolls)
Lore (Ex): Sha'a knows legends and lore like a bard. He makes his lore check at +23.
Greater Lore (Ex): Sha'a has the ability to identify magic items, once per item examined.
True Lore (Ex): Sha'a can use his knowledge to gain the effects of a legend lore spell or an analyze dweomer spell once per day.
Epic Spells: Sha'a can cast 5 epic spells per day. He knows Nailed
to the Sky, Dreamscape, Summon Behemoth, Mass Tree, and Summon Silver
Dragon. His Spellcraft check is +70 to cast epic spells.
