Tsalchbokgat: +3 ghost touch vampire bane Javalin.  The weapon is +5 vs vampires.  Always hits heart if roll is 4 better than the vampire's AC, +2d6 damage otherwise.  If impaled, both the vampire and the weapon burst into flame.  The weapon reforms later.  The javalin is long shaft of wood tapering to a sharp point.  The other end is carved into the shape of four leering gargoyles, their wings held straight up and back to back.  The entire length is covered with detailed images of intermeshed black birds. (Caster Level 9th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, Plane Shift, Summon Monster I, Fire Shroud; Market Value 98,301 gp)

Tsalchbokgat was wielded for several years by Glauraith the Vampire Hunter, a crypt ranger famed in the lands of Drychtnoth.  Prior to that it was in the possession of an order of druids in Odhirran.

Tsalchbokgat was created by Anuirienil Darince, a noted weapon maker of Ghoere, to destroy his daughter, who had risen from the grave to haunt Ghoere in the Fourth Age.  Avaneer Darince, however, slew her father before he could bring Tsalchbokgat to bear.  The weapon was used by Avaneer's friend, Mhohri, to put the vampire to rest.  Mhohri held onto the weapon for the rest of her life.  When she died it was passed onto her son.  It was used by a succession of vampire hunters throughout the Fourth Age.  It ended up in the possession of Lady Eluvie Osoerd, a druid, at the time of the Cataclysm.  It's history is vague during this and the resulting ice age and early periods of the Fifth Age.  It appears again in the possession of a circle of druids in Odhirran.  It was used by them for nearly a hundred years (at least) to slay vampires before it was given to Glauraith.  After Glauraith was killed by a mindflayer, Tsalchbokgat was taken by Samadhi to Itsitlawikanah, where it was used by the Twilight Gathering for a short period before a member of the Twilight Gathering was killed by Doctor Dalby.  Doctor Dalby, who had discovered a multi-dimensional tomb in Alisander, hid the weapon within and forced a chimera to guard it, as well as several gargoyles that already resided there.
