Yeah, I promised Lankhmar. Sorry, but
other things crept up into the site.
In this case, what I feel is the best
piece I have ever painted, "Sidhe Archer vs. Joten Raider".
You can check it out at the Illustration
gallery.

What the -- ?! Where did the months go?
:)
At any rate, I'm back with a couple of
additions to the Illustration
gallery: the cover to Fiery Dragon's upcoming "Endless
Horizon" counter collection (focusing on plains and deserts);
and an unusual depiction of Wonder Woman that I just HAD to
do. Hope you like them!
Next up: Lankhamr!

Summer (for me) is a few hours away,
and that begs a new update to the Line
Art: all Eberron goodness! Check out a comic book page
done in the style of the Eberron chapter openers, and a line-up
of three of my PCs: a shifter druid, a Karrnathi human artificer
and a Talenta halfling!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
|
| 12.04.06
The site springs back to life with a
brand-spankin' new gallery: Line Art!
Go there and see my take on the crew of Serenity and two characters
from Freedom City, Captain Thunder and the babelicious Sidetrack! |
| 07.15.06
GenCon is less than one month away, and
the biggest release there will be Monte
Cook's Ptolus: City by the Spire. In the Illustration
gallery I posted the cover to Fiery
Dragon's Counter Collection: Ptolus, also available at
GenCon 2006. |
| 07.07.06
A new personal piece in
the Illustration gallery: the
bluespawn godslayer, inspired by a new creature from Monster
Manual IV. |
| 06.08.06
Prove yourself an Elite Gamer and head
over to the Illustration gallery,
where I present the illustration from the back cover of "Pleasure
Prison of the B'thuvian Demon Whore", from Expeditious
Retreat Press. Not only do you get to see the finished piece
depicting the Corrupted, you can also peek at the earlier
stages of the illustration, from pencils to colors. |
| 05.14.06
It's been almost a month, so
here's another update! Go to the Illustration
gallery and check out the cover to Fiery Dragon's Perilous
Heights, the tie-in to XRP's Monster Geographica: Hills &
Mountains, and also "George And The Dragons", a
homage to the patron saint of RPGs here in Brazil! |
| 04.07.06
Some covers are just too sizzling! Go
to the Illustration gallery
and check out "Druid Amazon", the original
cover to Fiery Dragon's product Untamed Woodlands, the tie-in
to XRP's Monster Geographica: Forest.
|
| 02.02.06
Ha! Two updates in a row! Didn't see
THAT coming, did you? :)
Go to the Illustration
gallery and check out the cover to "Circle of Rites",
Fiery Dragon's new adventure for Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved.
|
| 01.24.06
Hey, where did 2005 go?
I have two new additions to the Illustration
gallery: the cover of Ancient Darkness, the tie-in for Monster
Geographica: Underground, and one where a monk and a skeleton
come to blows!
|
| 09.06.05
Once again, time is fleeting. In the
past months I did more artwork than ever, finishing the upcoming
counter tie-in for Monster Geographica: Underground, illustrating
the 30th Anniversary Edition of Tunnels & Trolls and getting
my jaw off the floor after winning TWO Silver Ennies, for
BattleBox and Counter Collection Gold. Thanks to all who voted!
So this time I have two new additions
to the Illustration gallery:
the covers of Arcana Evolved Counter Collection and Untamed
Woodlands, the tie-in for Monster Geographica: Forest. Enjoy!
PS: My prayers go to those affected by
the hurricane Katrina. Be safe.

I got tons of new fully-painted artwork
to show, so I made a major update to the Classic
Illustration gallery! Head over there to see the covers
of Fiery Dragon's "Murky Depths & Slimy Shores"
(a tie-in with Expeditious Retreat Press), "BattleBox:
Arcana Evolved edition" (a tie-in with Malhavoc Press)
and an Eberron-inspired shifter druid.

Where did time go?
It took me long enough, but here
is the artwork for the recently-released Ravenloft book "Dark
Tales & Disturbing Legends". I am specially proud
of this batch. The dark-haired human in the "Time and
Time Again" picture is actually the character that inspired
my usual screen name, Klaus.
|
| 02.13.05
Whew! For the past months I've been working
hard on the upcoming Fiery
Dragon products Murky Depths & Slimy Shores (a tie-in
with Monster Geographica:
Aquatic) and Greek Counters of Doom (a tie-in with New
Argonauts), and also with the upcoming Ravenloft book
Dark Tales
& Disturbing Legends.
But I want to make it up to you by posting
THREE new additions to the Classic
Illustration gallery: "Halfling Wolf Rider",
"Valenar Elf" and "Warforged" (the last
two were inspired by Keith Baker's most excelent Eberron
campaign setting, published by WotC).

| 12.01.04
Can you believe it's December already?
Well, I know I did a lot this year, and I have a baby to prove
it! :)
Yesterday the latest Ravenloft book,
"Legacies of Blood", hit the shelves. And I have
eight new illustrations in it that I'm sharing with you in
the Legacies of Blood gallery. Check
'em out!

Halloween has come and gone,
but some of the best treats arrive afterwards. Like Fiery
Dragon's brand-spankin'-new Counter Collection: Undead.
It's available in both print and electronic format, and it
contains over 100 individual undead and related creatures.
It also features a color booklet detailing 8 new undead I
designed myself. Check 'em out at the Fiery
Dragon Undead gallery! |
10.16.04
This week I posted the cover
I did for another Brazilian RPG book. Published by Editora
Viu, "Sombras no Oriente" is a villains/monster
book for their Oriental setting. The cover features the Eternal
Samurai (a vampire) battling an Akuma demon. You can check
it out here. |
09.22.04
(Okay, so it wasn't a week...)
October will see the release of Arthaus'
relaunch of the Masque of the Red Death campaign setting.
The original MotRD was a very cool campaign expansion for
the Ravenloft line, back in 1994. Head over to the brand-new
Masque of the Red Death gallery
and check out the illustrations I did for the book!

09.02.04
Gen Con '04 has come and
gone, and I am very happy to say that Counter Collection Gold
won the Silver Ennie for Best Aid or Accessory of 2004! A heartfelt
"Thank You!" goes to everyone who voted!
Gen Con '04 also saw the release
of a product that is near and dear to my heart, which I developed,
wrote, illustrated and layoutted (is that a word?), with the
invaluable help of editor Scott Holden-Jones: Fiery
Dragon's BattleBox. So this time I bring you the fully-painted
cover of the BattleBox, in the Classic
Illustration gallery! Hope you enjoy!
Next week (promise!): Gothic
Earth!

07.28.04
It's been a while since I posted
anything in my usual, "four-color" style. So this
time I assembled a CROWDED wallpaper from counter images contained
in Fiery Dragon's Counter
Collection 5: Summoned Monsters and Counter Collection Gold.
Just head over to the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper
Gallery for a wallpaper featuring all dire animals! ROAR! |
06.25.04
It took me a while, but this update
is massive! Head over to the Ravenloft Gazeteer
gallery for the illustrations I did for the fifth Gazeteer,
covering scenes and creatures from the domain of Keening! |
06.01.04
Has it been nearly 3 months? This
just won't do! June will see more regular updates, beginning
with a fully-painted cover I did for Brazilian publisher Editora
Viu for their oriental-styled product, "Projeto Mítica:
Caminhos do Oriente". Enjoy! |
03.12.04
More Shadow Fey are up at
the Ravenloft Shadow Fey gallery: the faerie-like
Alven, the working Brag, the creepy Fir and the immaterial Waff,
all from Arthaus' upcoming "Guide to the Shadow Fey".
Enjoy! |
02.29.04
More additions to the Ravenloft
Shadow Fey gallery, which brings sneak peeks at Arthaus'
upcoming "Guide to the Shadow Fey". This week, the
savage Muryan, the wise Portune and the bloodthristy Powrie
breeds. |
02.20.04
In about a month or so, Arthaus'
"Guide to the Shadow Fey" hits the streets. So it's
time to set up a Shadow Fey Countdown, featuring the artwork
I did for this book. Let's start off with the Teg, Sith and
Shee! Part the Mists towards the Ravenloft
Shadow Fey gallery. Enjoy! |
01.29.04
After some much-needed rest, we're
back into the trenches! This week I bring three interior illustrations
from Fiery Dragon's Ennie-nominated PDF "World of Karathis:
West Wood Barony" (which is free!). It features some of
the most remarkable NPCs from that setting, including the legendary
Baron Kragor NeMoren, original owner of NeMoren's Vault! It's
all in the Fiery Dragon Interiors
gallery. Enjoy! |
