12.23.02
This time of the
year is about cherishing your family and friends. In keeping with
that, today I pay homage to all my friends worldwide. Make your
way to the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper gallery
and enjoy a wallpaper showcasing the characters from a play-by-post
campaign I'm currently playing with my friends at Fiery Dragon.
And visit the Fiery Message
Boards to check out our zany adventures. Can you guess who's
playing who? :)
Merry Christmas! |
12.06.02
The jolly season
is aproaching fast, so December opens with that Most Merrymaker
of Magicians, the cheerful, playful and pocketful Nebin, the gnome
illusionist! Don't disbelieve and enjoy the glamers in the DnD
Iconics gallery! Abracadabra (gonna reach out and grab ya)! |
11.29.02
Another Iconic lass
has made her way to the DnD Iconics
gallery: psychic warrior Ma'varkith! Just head over there and
enjoy all her pretty psionic potential. |
11.22.02
Some people have
already commented they got their copies of Counter Pack 3: Denizens
of Darkness and Dungeons, and I couldn't be happier with the feedback.
So I decided to expand a bit the CP3 buzz by posting a wallpaper
featuring the cover of CP3. It showcases my versions of Underground
staples like duergar, drow, thoqqua, xorn and umber hulk! As usual,
it's in the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper gallery.
Delve and enjoy! |
11.18.02
This week I bring
a special sneak peek at Counter Pack 3: Denizens of Darkness and
Dungeons. Just visit the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper
gallery and take a look at two very special kobolds. They first
appeared in Counter Pack 2 as allies of the Pax Hobgoblinica.
But in CP3 they get the full Prestige Class treatment, which I
wrote! The Shadowfang blends sorcery and stealth into a consumate
assassin, while the Drake Knight channels the power of his dragon
lord to accomplish amazing feats! Enjoy, and respect the little
guys! |
11.08.02
There's a new inhabitant
over at the DnD Iconics gallery.
Just head that way and check out my version of Krusk, the half-orc
barbarian! You'll notice that I like making half-orcs look much
more human than full-blooded orcs. Raaargh! :) |
11.01.02
Has it been two
months? Sorry for the delay. I worked non-stop to finish Fiery
Dragon's Counter Pack 3 (which will include counters for Necromancer's
Rappan Athuk trilogy) and Counter Collection 3 (tons of unique
counters for MODERN settings). But more on that later. This week
I bring back a very popular feature: just visit the DnD
Iconics gallery and check out my rendition of Ember, the human
monk! She can kick anyone's arse seven ways to Sunday! Kiii-YA! |
09.01.02
Dark Quest Games
and Natural 20 Press have just joined forces for the relase of
the extensive "Moon Elves" PDF book, so I wanted to give you all
a look at some of the art I did for that book. Just go to the
new Dark Quest Fantasy gallery to
enjoy a couple of elven rangers! |
08.26.02
Today I'm posting
some pictures of GenCon 2002. It was an immense ammount of fun,
and I got to meet some really great people. So wait no longer
and browse my GenCon 2002 gallery! |
08.23.02
I'm back! GenCon
was amazing, and I'd like to thank everyone who took the time
to stop by the Fiery Dragon booth and say kind words about my
art! They were the first to see this week's addition to the DnD
Iconics gallery: Hennet, the human sorceror. 'Buckle-boy'
can cast a mean spell and, like Alhandra, he looks good doing
it! |
08.06.02
Almost there, folks!
Tomorrow I leave for GenCon, and I hope to see ya there. Meanwhile,
enjoy the latest addition to the DnD
Iconics gallery: Alhandra, the human paladin! She not only
can kick some ass, she looks good doing it! |
08.05.02
The girls were getting
lonely, so it was about time one of the lads decided to join the
DnD Iconics gallery. Check out
Regdar, the human fighter, getting ready for battle! The Iconic
Week near its completion! Yikes! |
08.04.02
It's time to expand
our minds. Today I bring out one of the least-known (but best
designed) of Iconics: Alexandra, the human psion! As usual, she's
in the DnD Iconics gallery. She
seems to be having a good time, and so am I! |
08.03.02
The weekend opens
up with a new lady gracing the DnD
Iconics gallery: Vadania, the half-elf druid! Check out not
only her, but her friends Lidda and Mialee as well. And come back
here tomorrow for another Iconic update! And for those not on
the know, I'll be selling originals at the Fiery Dragon booth
at GenCon, so drop by! |
08.02.02
Slight change of
plans, folks! And since all change is good, I'm pleased to announce
that due to overwhelming response, the DnD
Iconicsgallery will be updated DAILY until GenCon! Today we
have everyone's favorite rogue, Lidda! What are you waiting for?
Go check her out, and come back here today for more Iconics! Zwing! |
08.01.02
GenCon is coming!
And in just a week my wife and I will be in Milwalkee for that
weekend of crazy! In preparing for that, I'm starting a new, long-overdue
gallery, devoted to the DnD Iconics!
Opening up the gallery is that lovely elven lass, the wizard Mialee.
Go check her out and come back here often, because this site will
be update almost daily, in preparing for GenCon! Zoot! |
07.21.02
I'm sorry I don't
get to update this site as often as I used to, but things are
crazy-busy right now. Not only did I just finished Fiery Dragon's
"Counter Pack II: Tribes, Clans & Cults", I illustrated 15 creatures
for the upcoming Necromancer Games "Tome of Horrors". And to top
all that, I was honored with a nomination for the Ennies
2002, as Counter Collection 2 in running for Best Accessory.
Browse the Fiery Dragon Wallpaper gallery
and check out the three CC2 wallpapers! Then click on the Ennies
link and vote (please)! After you're done, enjoy the Counter Pack
2 preview wallpaper here. And for something
entirely new, check out the Superheroes
gallery, for my rendition of Jennifer Connelly as Wonder Woman!
Yowza! :) |
06.17.02
As you might know,
Fiery Dragon's Counter Pack 1: Demons & Devils is out, and it
contains some creatures from Green
Ronin's Armies of the Abyss and Legions of Hell.So this week
I bring you two devils straight out of Legions of Hell, in another
sneak peek at CP1. Just navigate to the Fiery
Dragon Wallpaper gallery and enjoy my renditions of the Pain
Mistress (one of the most disturbing creatures I have ever illustrated)
and the kere. Game on! |
05.23.02
It's been quite
a month! After some non-stop work, the product that will herald
Fiery Dragon's new era is about to hit the shelves. This week
I offer you a sneak-peek preview at the Counter Pack 1: Demons
& Devils. Just browse your way to the Fiery
Dragon Wallpaper gallery and take a look at what's coming
to raise Hell (and Abyss) on gaming tables everywhere. Game on! |
04.28.02
Exactly one year
ago, this site was debuting under Eric Noah's banner. And it's
been one hell of a year. To celebrate this occasion, I am posting
a special wallpaper at the Wallpapers
gallery. What began simply as an outlet of my art became my job,
and people I never knew became my fans and friends. Thank you
all for making my site a regular spot in your internet wanderings,
and thank you to those who think products with my art deserve
your hard-earned money. Some special thanks are in order:
• To Eric Noah and Russell Morrissey for giving this site a roof.
• To Zouron, who taught me enough HTML to make this site less
hideous than it was.
• And, most of all, to Paula, without whose support none of this
would have happened. |
04.11.02
Once again, an off-week
spells Big Updates for the site! First, take a look at some Psions
from the "Psionics Handbook" (available now!), and then enjoy
two gods from the Fiery Dragon world of Karathis, who are featured
in the current Scrollworks issue. These goodies are in the Fiery
Dragon Interiors gallery. And then head into the Main
Gallery and download the Character Sheet I designed for my
campaign! It's in PDF format, so use the whole right-click-save-as
routine, okay? And let me know what you think! Good gaming! |
03.24.02
A gazillion updates!
First, get your cyberpunk fix at the Dark Quest
gallery: the street doctor and the vehicle mechanic. Then head
over to the Fiery Dragon Interiors
gallery, where you will find two new peeks at Monte Cook's "Queen
of Lies" and the first-ever look into Mike Mealrs' "Psionics Toolkit",
with a very unique psionic NPC. Enjoy! |
03.17.02
After another hiatus,
I had to put up a boatload of stuff to keep you guys happy. First,
there's a continuing look at the Cyber Style illustrations at
the Dark Quest gallery, with two new archetypes:
the gunsmith and the security officer. Then there is one last
look at the first-ever d20 psionic-able adventure, Of Sound Mind:
a very large, very busy tavern scene. And since we're standing
on the brink of a dark elf invasion, I bring you the first ever
look at the interior artwork from Monte Cook's Queen of Lies,
with two of the adventure's unique drow NPCs. You can find that
all at the Fiery Dragon Interiors
gallery. And, as if all that wasn't enough, there's a new picture
at the Play Aids gallery: a panoramic
view of the Stone Tooth! Enjoy! |
03.04.02
Sorry for the delay,
folks, but this week sees some nice updates. First, check out
the brand-new Dark Quest gallery. In it
you'll find some of the archtypes I did for Dark Quest's futuristic
"Cyber Style" d20 expansion. And then get your fantasy fix at
the Play Aids gallery, with my first
play aid for WotC's Forge of Fury: the NPCs from Blasingdell.
Have fun! Next week, new Fiery Dragon stuff! |
02.15.02
Wanna take a look
inside Kevin "Piratecat" Kulp's adventure "Of Sound Mind"? Then
look no further than the Fiery Dragon
Interiors gallery. There you'll find a new black-and-white
piece I did to illustrate one of the more light-hearted moments
of the psionic adventure. In it, the iconic PCs share a nice,
cool shower! ;) |
02.04.02
The Fiery
Dragon Wallpaper gallery is a bit greenier than usual. This
week I slapped together a nifty wallpaper featuring sylvan creatures
that grace Counter Collection 2. Centaurs, Nymphs, Dryads, Treants,
Unicorns, Druids and Rangers make up this nature-inclined wallpaper.
As usual, all info on Counter Collection 2 (and other products
I illustrated) can be found at www.fierydragon.com. |
01.27.02
All characters and
no monsters does not a Counter Collection make! So, be sure to
get a hold of the second Counter Collection II wallpaper, featuring
the Displacer Beast, the Wyvern, the Succubus, the Air Elemental
and the Dark Naga. As usual, get it at the Fiery
Dragon Wallpaper gallery. For more info on Counter Collection
2, visit www.fierydragon.com. |
01.18.02
This month I get
to share with you two of the most fun assignments I've had so
far in this industry: two adventures written by two of the most
talented writers out there! First, there's Monte "he wrote the
DMG" Cook's epic adventure, "Queen of Lies". It's arriving at
stores in the coming weeks, so brace yourself with a spooky wallpaper.
And as if that was not enough, there's Kevin "Piratecat" Kulp's
mind-boggling psionically-able, introductory-level, can't-miss-it-for-the-world
adventure, "Of Sound Mind", which is due in stores on January
28th, so it also gets the wallpaper treatment! It's all at the
Fiery Dragon Wallpaper gallery. These
are two modules everyone will be talking about! For more info
on those modules, visit www.fierydragon.com. |
01.11.02
The Lords of Gondor
have arrived! This week I have a small update: a tribute to that
most unsung member of the Fellowship, Boromir, son of Denethor.
Head over to the Lord of The Rings sketch
gallery and enjoy! Next week, a sneak peek at Monte Cook's new
adventure, "Queen of Lies"! |
01.03.02
Happy New Year!
It sure began nicely for me, since I got to watch "Fellowship
of the Ring" on January 1st! As a result, there are two more pieces
at the Lord of The Rings sketch gallery!
Go check out pieces depicting those wacky elves, Legolas and Elrond!
And go watch the movie! |
