| Here there be dragons! |
Back when Dragon magazine was still in print, June was always a dragon-themed month. To keep that proud tradition alive, we offer up ten of the creatures that make up half the game's name.
The true dragons included here include the electrifying aquatic dragon, the volcanic beljuril dragon, the vicious brine dragon, and the playful, thermal-riding mithril dragon.
The landragons, a more feral, less magical offshoot of true dragons, include the magic-inhibiting arack, the pack-hunting night dragon, and the fascinating scintillating dragon.
The serpentine swamp wyrms come in two varieties: the chilling knucker and the boiling guivre.
The false lindworm represents a chromatic dragon born with some unusual deficiencies.
Finally, the bloodstinger may or may not be the "missing link" between pseudodragons and wyverns. |

| Ex Keraptis Cum Amore |
From the twisted mind of Bruce R. Cordell come a group of related creatures and templates all associated with the wizard Keraptis.
The false Keraptis template is the cornerstone of the set, which includes the Blackrazor-wielding false Keraptis efreet known as Killjoy. Another unique false Keraptis, Mossmutter, is based on a creature already present in the Creature Catalogue, the mold wyrm. Each false Keraptis can create a number of subsumed minds, which requires another template, and Mossmutter's unique subsumed minds resulted in the skin puppet template.
This batch of conversions was probably the hardest bunch we've dealt with, and special thanks go out to freyar for keeping things focused and doing much of the "heavy lifting." |

| Out of this World |
10 creatures from beyond the Material Plane invade the Creature Catalogue.
Hailing from the Concordant Domain of the Outlands come the grillig, gronk, and sohmien. The dimensional warper time shares here, when not on the Ethereal Plane.
The Elemental Planes give us the watery ondine and the earthen horde.
Deep in space we find the boldly-going spacesea giants and their savants. And on the legendary vessel Spelljammer lurk the not-quite-dead kasharin.
Finally, the spirits of the Abyss have given life to the great walkers known as the mara.

| Nature calls |
Ten more fey resist nature's lure and find their way into the Creature Catalogue.
Among the more benevolent fey are the seelie faeries and their Faerie Queen, the windborne sakina, the wood-dwelling faerie phiz, and the three jogah: the stone-throwing Ga-hon-ga, the agricultural enhancing Gan-da-yah, and the underworld guarding Oh-do-wa.
The darker side of nature is represented by the the fish-throwing adaro, the sinister gloomwing, and the legendary Great Wendigo.

| Hounds, Horses and Helpers |
This week's batch features a number of unusual dogs, mounts, and magical beasts that can provide benefits to others.
Included are the hounds of the gith, the githzerai's szarkel and the githyanki's deadly kaoulgrim. The shadow hound makes the perfect companion for shadowdancers and residents of the Plane of Shadow. The bog hounds, and their pack leader, the moor hound, are not truly dogs, but vile constructs that can aid evil spellcasters in taking revenge.
In need of a new ride? The full warhorse is about the finest traditional horse you can find. If you're looking for something a bit more exotic, check out the telekinetic tolwar. If your travels take you to the Etheral Plane, the ether horse is a perfect fit.
Rounding out the batch are the illness-absorbing avian known as the caladrius, and the water-producing jade fish.

| More Prehysteria |
The latest batch includes a wide range of therapsids known as cynodonts (Cynognathus, Diademodon, Exaeretodon) and dicynodonts (Dicynodon, Diictodon, Lystrosaurus, Placerias, Robertia).
Rounding out the batch is the small archosauromorph Rhynchosaur, and a massive serpent, the Giant Titanoboa. |

| Shapechangers and things that look like other things |
Several shapeshifting species make their debuts.
First up is one of the last remaining unconverted creatures from the 1e core books, the bizarre imorph.
The batch also includes the terrain-mimicking maskhi, the bardic zin naga, the "they might be crocodiles" lesser segarrans (which include a prestige class for the greater version), and three age categories of the haglike silats.
We've got another lycanthropic template, the wily weremouse.
And don't put on that glove or pick up that gem, for it might be a peltast or greater peltast! |

| Verdant and Verminous |
| Among the green leaves and flowers of springtime lurk some deadly creatures. In some cases, it is the plants themselves, such as the thorn-flinging Bohun Tree, the choking Grab Grass, the swarming mosses (bog, forest, and swamp), the light-blasting Giant Sunflower, and the bloodsucking Vampire Vine. Other dangers move among the plants, including the giant versions of the caterpillar, grasshopper, and walking stick. |
