Creature Catalog FAQ

Question
Why don't you call demons tanar'ri and devils baatezu? That is what they are called.

Answer
Because I started playing in 1981 and they were called demons and devils. Same for the daemons (Yugoloths) and demodands (Gehreleths). I understand the arguements that they call themselves tanar'ri or baatezu, but we (as outsiders to them) call them demons and devils. Look in the 3E Monster Manual. You will find them listed under Demon and Devil.
