medical records as visual aids

Has anyone ever thought about using medical imagery as a visual aid in a game? (You know, x-rays, anatomy drawings, etc.) This came up for me recently because my wife got a copy of her brain scans (MRI) (all negative, thankfully), and we got some kicks looking through the pictures. One of the scans was basically of her face, but you pretty much just see her skull, eyeballs, and some brain peeking out the top. So I immediately thought, "wow, this would be a great illustration of a lich to show in a game!" Any similar experiences anyone?
