| There are some very nice games that are PS3 only, such as Little Big Planet and Uncharted : Drake's Fortune, but the 360 does definitely have the edge on originals and they have proven willing to back up large enough trucks filled with cash to developers, in order to lock in exclusivity on additional downloadable content. Fallout 3 is one of the games where they have done this.
OTOH, history does show that these things tend to be exclusive only for a while and do eventually show up for the other platforms. The trend is definitely away from content being exclusive for one platform over another. Though you may well still be looking at a yr+ delay.
I think I've only had Fallout 3 (ps3) lock up on me once in the many, many hours I've played it. So I wouldn't worry about that very much. |
