I missed this. Are you talking about, say, setting up a permanent
forbiddance around where you keep your phylactery or something? I'm open to the possibility. What I'm thinking is that you can have done this as part of your backstory, so long as you a) know the ritual, and b) pay the component costs out of your starting wealth. Let me know what you have in mind specifically.
In other news, after some reading I've decided to say no to hybrids for this campaign. It's not like there aren't enough other epic character options to explore, and I think FtF games are a better venue for playtesting than
PbP.
