| One of the continents surrounding the great volcano lies to the south, out of the main path of the volcanic ash. This continent is known as Veridia, the green lands. However, just because the skies here are relatively clear of ash, does not mean it is mist-free. Amidst the great jungles, wide plains and rolling hills of this continent are long, vast cracks that open deep in the earth. These cracks are apparently nearly bottomless, and spew out great clouds of steaming mist, choking vapors (at irregular intervals) and even great spouts of water, some boiling hot, some icy cold.
On this continent many humans, humanoids, and other creatures live. For generations past they, too, have fought in the wars for Raishea's sparks of divinity; their empires and kingdoms have risen and fallen, based on the successes or failures they have made. |
