Sounds good - I was actually just thinking last night how things like a 4 square radius are really quite a lot larger in 4e than they were in 3e. Thanks for the info!
Awesome, thanks! The only thing that jumped out at me is we lost which melee attacks were basic (so used on opportunity attacks and charges) - the little m vs. big M that I'm doing until I get access to the icons that wotc uses.
Anyhow, this will be great for me to print up and use at the 4e-ish game I've started running

This one I can fix, might can even get the icons. I'll see what I can do.

In the absence of the Monster Manual, I am in need of rats! Here are some stats I came up with for the Sunless Citadel 4th edition conversion I'm working on. Please let me know your thoughts:
Feral Rat, Level 1 Minion
Small Natural Beast
Initiative +3; Senses Perception +1
HP dies when damaged
AC 14; Fortitude 11, Reflex 13, Will 9
Speed 5
M Bite (standard; at-will)
+5 vs. AC; 2 damage AND Diseased Bite also see Pack Hunter
Diseased Bite +1 vs. Fort; target diseased (target loses use of a healing surge per day until saves or until healed by Heal check DC 25 administered over a short rest, or with ritual to remove disease; save can be made only once per long rest (once per day); while a target is diseased, further Diseased Bites by feral rats have no cumulative effect).
Pack Hunter Combat advantage if ally adjacent to target.
Alignment Unaligned
Str 8 (-1) Dex 16 (+3) Wis 8 (-1)
Con 12 (+1) Int 3 (-4) Cha 9 (-1)
Guthash, Feral Rat Denmother, Level 2 Skirmisher
Medium Natural Beast
Initiative +5; Senses Perception +1
HP 36; Bloodied 13
AC 15; Fortitude 12, Reflex 14, Will 13
Speed 5
M Bite (standard; at-will)
+6 vs. AC; 1d8+1 damage AND Diseased Bite also see Pack Hunter
Diseased Bite +2 vs.
Str 12 (+1) Dex 16 (+3) Wis 10 (+0)
Con 12 (+1) Int 4 (-3) Cha 15 (+2)
Some thoughts.
I would be hesitant to create a new condition unless you expect that condition to see quite a lot of general use. I certainly wouldn't call it diseased since a variety of diseases should have different effects.
I would use a tag to represent Disease effects. That way you can provide immunities, save bonuses, and allow powers and rituals to interact with all diseases. If the bodak's immunity is any indication they already do this.
keterys, keep up the good work!! Your monsters are appreciated.
VBMEW-01, your efforts are appreciated too!! Thanks!!

Excellent work VBMEW-01 on the PDF's....helps me immensely. keterys I'm more and more impressed with your work for what it is worth (I'm nobody overly important) thanks for what you've done and looking forward to what you have yet to do.
Cheers,

Heh, yeah - my goal is 10 a week and so far I've been a bit ahead of that (22 in 10 days), but I've been skimping on the fluff and concentrating on low level monsters so once I'm doing higher level monsters and including full writeups I'll slow down.
In the meantime, I'm trying to get as many playable options on the table for the remaining two and a half months until 4E comes out.
Very happy that you're compiling them for me, though!
I'm glad to do it, I look forward to torturing my players with them.
Really it's a lot like having MMII on day one, and that'll be helpful because I have an incredibly well-versed group. Its great to throw something out they they haven't seen before. And with most of them buying their own sets of books, that'll be harder than previous.
Anyway, let me know if you want a legal disclaimer or a front page image of some sort. I'm thinking that I will add our contact links to my next update, as well as links to the three adventures, PHB lite, and all of the other stuff.
I'm really just glad to help, I've had far too much free time lately since I've been waiting for next school quarter to begin, and being unemployed after 10 years of steady work has left a massive void of free-time that I am all too happy to fill.

P.S. I think the Mist Demon is a little too powerful - I tweaked it slightly downward, but I'm pretty sure come June it'll end up a bit wimpier in some way. Also reduced the radius on Lavakin per the prior feedback.
Hmm... Your Black Drakehound has been making me want to see how a 4th edition Charnel Hound would work out.
I don't have the MM on me for it, but if you don't know about the Charnel Hound it is essentially a large undead dog (say about... 2-3 meters high) made entirely of corpses. It has lots of fear affects and such. One idea I thought of with them for 4e is after they are defeated the corpses become undead themselves (minions).
Also, got me thinking about the classic Black Dog (could see this being either from the Shadowfell or Feywild (could be neat to see spectres of the Feywild showing through in our World, ie: a real Black Dog exists in the Feywild and this is simply a fragment of it)) of mythology.
-Are spectres
-Appear near crossroads, places of execution and ancient roads
-Associated with lightning storms and water (amphibious)
-Is associated with death
