Hey Jester,
I'm going to be rolling your monster conversions into the AQ Monster Manual I've been putting together. To see a sample of what it will look like check out the main AQ for 4e thread. You will be credited of course...

Awesome!
The project continues, of course, though I haven't worked on it in a couple of days- been very busy gaming and working. Hopefully I'll have a chance to add some more stuff in later tonight or tomorrow.
Maybe I'll add my new xvarts to the mix, too- I statted up the xvart street rat and xvart rebel for my game.
Here's one for you. When I'm done entering the AQ critters, you've inadvertently converted , I'll put up a compiled pdf of them in this format (using not so arabian a font, and no smoky borders). Is that cool?
(This means of course, that if you add monsters that are on my AQ list, they'll get all prettified...)
Would it be possible to edit the original post of this thread so that all the monsters are listed? It takes a long time for EN pages to load. A comprehensive index would help save several minutes of searching.

Look at Post #7. There's a comprehensive index up to date.

Excellent!
I have a request. How about an aerial servant? That's the first monster in the 1e MM. They make an appearance in Castle Zagyg: The Upper Works and I'm hoping to run that dungeon someday soon.
How about the Jabberwock for one of the epic levels?

Re: the jabberwock and the aerial servant- added to my list!
Jabberwock sounds about 21st level, and the aerial servant sounds about, eh, 16th to me. Orius and Xeveninti- if you're looking for something at a more specific level, let me know and I might be flexibile. Xeventini, what level do you anticipate the party to be when you run the Upper Works?
Fine by me. It seems a bit low for the Jabberwock to be at 21st level maybe, but I'm not familiar enough with the mechanics to really know where it would fit. Some of the those old-school monsters we'd deem epic today are to classify because back in the old days they were ridiculuosly strong and only had a few specific vulnerabilities. The Jabberwock. The Blackball. The Demilich. And so on.
The game is designed from a different sort of perspective these days, so some of that stuff does't always work like it did.

Do you have plans to stat a 4e phoenix? Or will you be waiting for WotC to do it? By the 3e multiply by 1.5 rule, it should be level 36, but I'm thinking that's a bit higher than really needed, given comparable creatures.

Phoenix appears in the MM, under "roc".
Weird placement, but hey, that's cool- at least it's there.
That's what I get for using the table of contents instead of reading the book cover to cover...
