We've mentioned this before, but a reminder never hurts!
While we can't control what you do on your own websites, please do not reproduce
WotC's material wholesale on EN World. You can create your own stuff, but you can't copy/paste large sections of a $30 book and distribute it for free and expect
WotC to be happy about it.
You can
reference the D&D books; you can
quote them in small amounts in the context of news, reviews, and discussion. But you can't, for example, reproduce an entire class or race, distribute the text of of all the powers in a book (whatever format you present it in), etc. Even more important than the basic legalities of the issue, it's also a matter of courtesy.
Please use some common sense when deciding what you post here; and if you see a post which egregiously reproduces large chunks of
WotC's IP,
please report it!
If
you end up being the reason
I get a nasty letter from The Rouse & Friends, please rest assured you won't be too welcome around these parts thereafter. So, if you're in doubt, feel free to ask in Meta. It should be fairly obvious most of the time, but we'll be happy to clarify if you want to post something and you're not sure if you should.
Thanks for understanding, folks. If you have personally posted anything you feel would step over these boundaries, please edit your post(s) to remove the content.
