Not a suggestion for London, but a suggestion in general for new people looking to gather a miniature collection: 1.) Look for a large collection for sale on Ebay. When they pop up, they tend to be the best figure per cost approach to get a basic collection. 2.) Buy a 3d printer and print minis as you need them to top off the collection. Your players can help you paint them. It doesn't...

The Web DM youtube channel posted this video earlier in the month, and I just watched it. It makes some very interesting points about Paladins, specifically in the context of roleplaying one without being terrible. Something that stands out to me is the example of Michael Carpenter from the Dresden series, because I agree that it is one of the best Paladin's I've ever seen in fiction. ...

I would be careful assuming that bit about Asmo and the Hags is canon. I don't recall how it was written in 5e, but 4e was pretty good about saying something to the effect of: "this is one version of the story." By doing so they left themselves some wiggle room.

To riff off Gavin's idea: triggers are usually related to stress. Having to do meaningful things with repercussions if they fail (the only time you roll d20s), really does make it sound like you should trigger on some d20 roll. But a 1 means that it always triggers on failure. With 12 personalities, I'd trigger the change on a 12. Sometimes it's a success, sometimes a failure. But it's a...

Because while you can’t force others to speed up their play, you can create an environment that encourages it. 1. Always tell the next player up in initiative they are on deck. It won’t work for all players, but for the ones it does it can really help make sure they start their turn...

That sounds quite interesting indeed! Now I guess (but that's just my gut feeling) that you could make this add simply a flat cost to the weapon, like with some armor enchants in Pathfinder. Mainly because while the effect can be powerful, it doesn't add much to the weapon's raw combat power and maybe shouldn't take away those precious +x enchant values.
