I still don't. The film establishes that he is willing to do something extreme. The film does not establish that this is, in fact, madness. That would be because he is the antagonist, not a protagonist. He is an antagonist with a lot of screen time, but an antagonist regardless. I think you'll have to make more clear what you classify as a list of events, and what you classify as...

It seems pretty simple to me. They were changed to demons (except for the arcanaloths, who managed to change themselves into something else) at whatever cosmic event caused 4e, and whatever cosmic event that more or less changed everything back at the beginning of 5e made a few changes to the yugoloths. Big cosmic events always make at least a few changes, that is part of the reason for having...

By far the largest source of disadvantage in our games is flanking. The combat positional element is HUGE in all of our games. Four of the core players in our games are old Warhammer players (7th, 8th and earlier editions for a few), so the combat setup is ingrained in us - so we use flanking as a primary element. We also use miniatures quite heavily (we literally have thousands from all...

Some people, however, are invested in the D&D worlds and their story just like other people are invested in--say--the GoT series, or the Malazan series, or the Wheel of Time series, and so on. They care about the lore because they care about those worlds beyond their gaming needs. I'm one of those. If a hardcore FR fan saw my version...
