also, when you held the silver broach you got from the bandits, you became aware of the fact that it's a broach of defense, which raises your ac by 1 while wearing it. Sorry, forgot to tell you that. If you want to wear/use either of these items, you have to sit with them for a short rest to have them attune to you. You can't have more than 3 magic items attuned to you at one time.

In a way, it was worse for Rob Halford (Judas Priest). While he was out to his band mates, and never denied being gay, he- accurately- assumed explicitly admitting his homosexuality would cost his band popularity with their heavy metal fan base. It took him decades before he did so (as I recall, while he was doing solo work with his band, Halford).

I think to be also very clear about most hybrid Defender|Defender - they can almost always do multi-marking right from 1st level every round of every combat if they choose. Which is a really powerhouse Defender option unavailable to most single class Defenders. So as an example, a Swordmage|Fighter can move up to two opponents in burst 1, aegis one opponent, then use a Fighter power on...

So I completely understand this sentiment and agree to an extent. D&D, especially 5e, is not as much about optimizing and suboptimal choices can still be fun and effective. But I think its still a worthy pursuit to find ways for thematic and fun choices to still be effective against their mechanical peers. Settling for choices that are cool but not as effective can lead to frustration when...

If one purchases the POD/holder bundle they basically pay for the Drivethru screenholder and receive the WOIN GM screen for free. And I get a bit of extra money for the sale of the holder thingy.
