So I've put up my first homebrew. link I've never really been happy with dragonborn, they've come across incredibly weak. So in that link you can download a homebrew that aims to correct the issue with dragonborn while expanding on them. Its free I just wasn't sure where to share it. Comments and feedback would be fantastic. There is also apparently this cool attachment option here so...

The only thing nice about a basic flametongue is basically makes GWM -5/+10 obsolete. Items that don't increase attack but increase damage a lot are good to hand out to non GWM users or even to them if the goal is to get them to use the feat less or make the feat less worthwhile.

Hello So I'm prepping this adventure in a castle where the servants have been prevented by mayhem (why the PCs are called in) to light or replace candles, torches etc, so I was thinking it would be dark. Then I realized - silly me, this castle is owned by a powerful wizard, there should be continual flame spells everywhere. But then I started thinking about it... Continual flame spells are...

I like that. It leaves room for the possibility of addressing gender and sexuality, while removing the necessity of dealing with it. Those who want to examine gender inequality in their roleplay have the opportunity to do so, and those who want to escape to a world where those inequalities are negligible can do so as well. I might adopt this for Human societies in my own games. Personally, I...

Ok... your AC is terrible. Your intiative too. Your stealth also. Only his false identity helps and that is a very late ability of the assassin class. So i would really recommend two feats: - Actor which is really good helping you to assume roles - maybe tavern brawler to allow attacking and grappling at the same time. I'd also actually recommend to think about different classes than rogue....

The loss of magic was a major concern and absorbed the initial focus of the...

It will round out your Str score too. 1-3 of Warlock would be great to get some face invocations like Mask of Many Faces. Hex could get you medium armor and expanded crit range too. Chain gets you a beefy familiar.

Abjuration Wizard gets it at 14th level, it's a racial feature for Yuan-ti. Pseudodragons ans Quasits (also possibly other monsters, I'm not sure) have variant rules where they can choose to serve as a familiar, and they then share their Magic Resistance with their master if they're within 10 feet.

Level 14 is the show-stopper I'm waiting for. Action to change permanent Major image rings into whatever I want, bonus action to make it real.

Alert, Alert, and Alert. Yeah, it's that important for the Assassin. Any particular reason for STR over DEX?

The assassin rogue benefits massively from going first in a fight. Since your Dex is low, Alert is near mandatory for this build.

Okay I'll be your huckleberry. Hit points are a method of communicating in game state. The DM says you were hit for 14 points of damage. You deduct that from your total. You are that much closer to death. This is in game knowledge. However you define hit points. Whether they are wounds or stamina or whatever. I've tried to keep it simple by saying they are just a measure of your...

Let's hypothesize. Suppose a supreme being existed first. That supreme being spoke all of the natural laws into existence as he was also creating the universe. So gravity, electromagnetism, the strong and weak forces, etc.. all came into being at his command. At any time, if he chose, he could command some part of the universe to break the rules. If such happened, it would not mean the end...

Dragons are very magical beings through and through so I don't have a problem seeing their flight either way. It could fall under the umbrella of cinematic though also.

So far I can go along. I agree you can say what you are doing in third person and still be acting within the limits of actor stance. There may though be an overlap between people who like actor stance and people who prefer first person as much as is practical. Personally I'm not over the top on first person but I like it when done well. This is more an imperfect naming of the stance...

Aldarc, I know you like to be "sensational" with your radical ideas. Please just know that you are making yourself look like a fool by claiming that is the implied D&D setting. You have no basis for it. Your examples are lame. So keep poking. I'm starting to think you aren't really seriously discussing this issue. You just keep making up extreme statements to try to get people upset. ...
