It allows you to search the
messageboards, send and receive private messages, give yourself a
custom usertitle, turn ads on or off, create a custom style for your
profile, get a nifty badge under your username, and gives you a special
warm glowy feeling! Oh, and it gets rid of this annoying message, too!
Also, any thread with the (Tavern) descriptor. Currently, there is only the Red Dragon, but there may eventually be others.

Do you need help creating a character Yurith ? You have posted in the Red Dragon Inn, yet you have not characters in the Official character thread.

Yurith, you should propably post your character sheet in the Character Thread anyway. That way, we can see better where we need to help you out a bit more.
It will be best if you edit your first post in the Character Thread to contain your character sheet.
Yurith, I would think a shop or guild would be a most welcome addition. But I suspect that right way to go about it would be to submit it as a (proposal), then let that process run it's course. You'll get lots of good feedback on your proposal which may help you make it better than even you first envisioned it as.
Oh, and a family member insisted that I include this just for grins:
Is there a post or thread somewhere that would show what characters are in the tavern at any given time?
The tavern thread itself, I guess, is the closest thing. Read the last few pages, see who's posting... of course, if someone enters, introduces herself, and then stays fairly quiet you might not notice her, but otherwise, it's not a bad indicator.
Maybe the best answer would be to have a "Red Dragon Inn" post in the Character Tracking and Interface Thread, along with someone to keep it up. Active characters could be "In the main room" even if they technically aren't. Inactive characters could be "taking an extended rest in their rooms".
