The Scrying Pool

Twice each week since Justice reached a high enough level to cast 5th level spells, she visits the Scrying Pool in Hyrwl. Though she does not conduct these trips in secrecy, it is not something she plans to talk about unless prompted. Her actions are known by all, but the results probably won't be unless something is discovered that would prove useful to the Circle and the Cause (which, based on my first couple of attempts, will not be happening any time soon).

What is she scrying on, you may ask?! Darkson and her mother, Katie - one attempt per week for each of them.

So... yes... here's a place for Scrying... and Liz desperately wants Kennon to post what Justice has discovered in her scrying attempts.

What is her DC?

I have no idea. It's based on her spell save DC, with the following modifiers:

Knowledge Will Save Modifier
None1 +10
Secondhand (you have heard of the subject) +5
Firsthand (you have met the subject) +0
Familiar (you know the subject well) –5
1 You must have some sort of connection to a creature you have no knowledge of.

Connection Will Save Modifier
Likeness or picture –2
Possession or garment –4
Body part, lock of hair, bit of nail, etc. –10

Not necessarily - but remember that having a physical connection to the target just increases the save DC for unwilling targets - you can scry on someone that you've only heard of, if you want.

You need EITHER knowledge or connection, but not both (though having both makes it much easier).

A few weeks go by after the tower of Caer Albion fell, when Justice approaches L'Aurel. Little words need to be spoken as the circle knows of this newly developed talent she learned from her father just as Justice's need is understood by the circle.

Using the small isolated and now finished (?) garden between the Amastatian temple and the Palace of Hywrl, L'Aurel uses the small stone bowl set to catch rain water. Pouring clear water from a flask Justice brought, L'Aurel's hands flutter over the broken reflection the two create.

Time and again this same scene is repeated sometimes she is alone, sometimes with others.

Base DC save = 19 w/o wisdom book bonus

Justice's DC is at a 23 (10 + spell level + cha modifier (she's eagle's splendored when she does this to increase her chances of success)).

Does L'Aurel have something that increases her Spell Save DC for Scrying?

Yes - it is a lower level druid spell. It's like Sor/Wiz 3, Druid 4, Cleric 5 (I think).

Her lack of wisdom is
a)she has one super high munchkin stat and I like her sucking at most everything else has been fun
