It allows you to search the
messageboards, send and receive private messages, give yourself a
custom usertitle, turn ads on or off, create a custom style for your
profile, get a nifty badge under your username, and gives you a special
warm glowy feeling! Oh, and it gets rid of this annoying message, too!
Perhaps this is because I'm bored...but I thought it might be interesting (esp. for those of us who are less familiar with this time-period) to post any interesting "world-events" happening in 1879. I'm not really talking about the "weird" stuff relevant to the game so much as the world at-large. This might be especially useful since some characters aren't from the US.
For example, since my character is British, it might be useful to know that in Jan. the Anglo-Zulu war began.

Right. Obviously, any who'd scoff at the predictive power of Nostradamus must either be 1) part of the establishment or 2) brainwashed by someone/thing that is part of the establishment.
