Thanx HOV....I suggested it but haven't gotten around to creating it yet.

Got a few.
First some I've made:
Driinai - Elf/Advanced Eagle (to make it medium-Size)
<Needs a Name> - Orc/Dire Boar cross (Bigger and Nastier than and Ogre)
Vyper - Human/Medium-Size Viper Snake (The spawn of Apopsis)
Hyensian Snowcat - Tiger/Polar Bear cross (And smart enough to use primitive traps.)
Other interresting Ideas:
Drow/Dire Bat
Hobgoblin/Wolf
Goblin/Dire Rat
Octopus/Piranha
Rhino/Large Monstrous Centipede
Octopus/Monkey
Monkey/Hairy Spider = Spider Monkey, Litteraly!
The other day I was thinking of crossing a Monkey with a bird of prey (not sure which one yet, I want to keep it the size of the Monkey and I haven't checked which one would work and at what advancement).
Anyway, the upshot of this would be the flying monkeys from the Wizard of Oz.

Oh HOV, remeber the days when you had amonkey crossed with anything to do whatever task was required? Hey, monkeys=fun.
How about a wolf/dragon? I picture the old manticore, except with a longer neck and a larger wingspan. It has the monster ability of scent, as per the wolf olfactory senses and the breath attack of a minor dragon (firebreath would singe too much hair). I dunno, I see a set of reptilian slitted eyes and a forked tongue from the lupine head. The back legs of a wolf and a mostly fur-covered body, except where the wings come out. Just some thoughts.
Rather expanding on the Silverbolt idea (Eagle and wolf).

Nice. I think I'll try to make something of the like!

If you mean FF1 that was only released in Japan... then no. I'm not that fanatic about it.
I did start before 7, though, but I skipped the anthology, simply because I can't get into a game where they don't even try to upgrade the graphics quality.

Pale: Actually FF1 was released in both America and Europe also, it was on the Nintendo Nes system, and it rocks! The computer game I know of that pits you against Tiamat in all her glory, not once, but twice! and Bahamut is in there also
I don't think that I ever had a chance to play it. I'm thinking that I was more than likely hooked on Ultima 3 or 4 at the time. I do remember that the only games that ever played on the NES were action-oriented. The RPGs didn't interest me all that much for some reason. Not until the time of the Super NES.
Wish that I had in hindsight, though. But I was heavily dependant on others to buy my games for me at the time.
