PR PDF Price Increase

I just posted this to my site:

I've been doing some "end-of-the-year" work preparing for taxes. In doing so I learned that I've had my PDF prices too low to actually cover my expenses. Starting January 1st all of the $3 PDFs (I released) will raise to $4. This change will take place the morning of the 1st.

I'm sorry but I have to do this in order to make the creation of these PDFs worth my time. Since I went part-time at SJGames I need to make up the missing income.

Doing taxes?....I feel for you

Actually, I think your .pdfs are worth more than $3...even more than $4 As long as you keep making them, I'll keep buying them.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you have lined up next.

Yeah, taxes suck. I've been a bit slow over the break . . . played a few too many games to get any real work done. But I needed the break.

I did my first trial balance the other day and it looks like unless my partner has an enormous amount of receipts he hasnt submitted for reimbursement, we're going to have to PAY taxes this year. The jury is still out on whether thats a good thing or not. I think it definitely means its time to lease new computers, right? lol. I was perusing 101 Mundane Treasures last night. The items there are certainly inventive and, if nothing else, sparked my imagination on how I can make my OWN mundane treasures.

Good luck in the new year Phil (and good luck with your taxes)

We all need help in that department.

I'm thinking about "Another 101 Mundane Treasures" and opening it up to submissions. I probably couldn't pay anything more than a free copy but it is an idea I keep coming back to.

That sounds like a great idea to me! I know I would buy it. I bet if you do accept submissions, you would receive all sorts of neat and clever ideas from our community of gamers. I know I would gladly submit an item or two.

Phil,

Just thought I'd let you know that I picked up your Construct Mechanus on 12/31 and I love it. I followed the whole Psionics Companion debacle and because of your posts here, I decided to pick up CM while I was over at RPGNow getting Nat20's 4CTF for garyh's Supers PbP game here (where he pimps CM, BTW). Anyway, CM is a really well done product and I wanted you to know that.

I really appreciate the support. Be sure to watch for the revised and expanded version . . . it will be given to everyone who purchased CM (it just wouldn't be fair to release a better version less than a month later and then charge everyone again).
