It allows you to search the

warm glowy feeling! Oh, and it gets rid of this annoying message, too!
I was thinking about making one in HTML, but decided it was too much work with the 3.5 one coming in a few months. I might sit down and do it when the new one is out.

If that's true. I have some work to finish up on it.
I can't imagine why not, it's OGC. Ryan Dancey (sp?) even said the priced the original books at a point where folks wouldn't copy, print bind and sell the SRD.
Please finish up! You can have my money! Just tell me where to send it...
from Bombshell studios. It is a windows .chm file. That's the compiled html help file format. He also has just the html files. I use this one on my pocketpc at the table. It works great!
Expeditious Retreat Press is a few days away from having a fully hyperlinked document containing the complete SRD spells and magic items. Also, as an added bonus, we're linking the spells to the items they create.
It's called the Internet Arcana. Click through to get the proof of idea document. We're trying to get the e-publishing community involved in this (ie. their open spells and items and direct links for customers to where customers can buy the original product) but as of yet haven't had very good response.
Right now, Internet Arcana only contains Spells and Items. It already has over 2800 links and anchors. Massive hyperlinking.
I wonder how much a file that contained all the Open Game Content from all publishers would be worth. Might make a nice group project, as it would be expensive for one person to accumulate all the OGC by themselves.
I don't even want to think about how it would take to make that sort of document! Besides, it's unlikely the publishers out there would be very pleased with such a document.

Pleased or not, they don't have a choice in the matter, if their material is OGC. I guess giving them a heads up would be the courteous thing to do though, but their permission is not needed.
Yes, the pdf version of the SRD is now finished! With an extensive table of contents and bookmarks!!
Important note: When working on large pdfs, remember to do the page numbers at the beginning. While I was looking the doc over in InDesign, I realized that I forgot the frigging page numbers! (We were NOT amused!)
Now just have to wait for RPGNow to do their wonderful magic.
