Question for James at RPGNow - Gift Certificates?

Hi James,

I was curious - is there a way to buy PDFs to give as gifts to other people from RPGNow? Like either by "virtual gift certificate" (they pick), or would you have to pick the item for them?

Sorry for the late reply, but if you have questions for me the best thing to do is write me email.

Anyway, no we don't have gift certificates at RPGNow. I was working on code for RPGShop/RPGNow to do that and it got overly complicated and unstable... and well when dealing with money you can't have that.

So, what you can do is :

1) have your buddy setup an account, add the items to their shopping cart, then give you their password (whcih they can change later) so you can login and make the payment for them.

2) as for us to process the order manually. Still leave the items in the cart as above, but we'll instruct you how to send us payment

3) just forward them the links after you purchase... this one requires some trust- but the system does track downloads counts and such, so it's not that huge of a deal.
