I know this is a little off the beaten path for this forum, but here goes. I'm a freelancer with a lot of ideas and the attention span of a hyperactive cat. I've successfully freelanced in the past, but I'm not so great at maintaining focus without a deadline or people to bounce ideas off of. My friends are gamers but not as into new stuff as I am and none of them is willing to be a full time idea racketball wall.
I'm interested in finding a local collaborator (or non local who would be willing to do regular AIM chats to maintain the realtime collaboration feel) who would be interested in working with me on various projects and helping me figure out which ones are worth pursuing for actual or pdf publicaton.
What I have :
Lots of ideas.
[ego on] a fair amount of writing talent. [ego off]
A flexible schedule.
A good grasp of d20 rulesets and a history of putting together minor projects well.
Paid freelancing expereince.
What I don't have:
The focus to complete a major project without someone being activly interested in it as well.
The ability to spell worth a damn.
PDF editing software
A good broad perspective on what anyone but me would want to see or read.
