VAMPIRE WRITING COMPETITION - EXTENSION

Bottled Imp Games are looking for original short stories of between 5,000 and 15,000 words set in The Lords of the Night: Vampires setting. Ideally we'd like to see the vampires featured in and around Darke Alley, the mysterious street featured in the various short stories leading up to the release of Vampires.

Winners will see their short story featured in The Lords of the Night: Vampires - Tales from Darke Alley. In addition they will be paid 2 cents per word and will receive one copy of the book upon its release.

HOW TO ENTER

We're looking for a 2 page sample of your story plus a 1 page synopsis.

THE RULES

You must include at least one of the Children of Vangual in your story. These are NOT standard vampires, so stories that focus on vampires from other role playing settings or from various films and novels will be rejected.

We're looking to see stories that are unique to the Darkness Rising setting. That means using the powers, skills and abilities found in The Lords of the Night: Vampires.

You can use any element of The Lords of the Night: Vampires setting.

Is it possible to write without this book?
The preview on the website doesn't provide a lot of info (unless you want hundreds of stories about ash vampire

).

However, having the book is a great advantage. Besides, its an excellent product and well worth the $20. 128 pages for that amount of money is a great deal in my opinion.

When did this vampire book come out? I completely missed it. It looks very very interesting.

I've had mine for 3-4 weeks. I think distribution in the US was a little spotty as I've heard a lot of other people complain it was kind of hard to fine. I ordered mine through FRP games without trouble. Its well worth the money!
