Acrobat 6 and (e-)publishers...

Yo!

Acrobat 6 is out and i'm wondering whether there are any (e-)publishers that have already used it. And if so why? What do you feel are the advantages of Acrobat 6 over Acrobat 5?

Maybe this belongs in the Software forum, but because it's mostly related to e-publishing i thought it would fit well in this forum...

Is there any reason I should stop using Acrobat 4? I snagged it on eBay (new in box) for $75. Any reason at all I should spend more money when Acrobat 4 does everything I need it to?

I'm not saying you need to, i'm just asking those who are and those who want to...

An 'old' 486 could still be used for publishing, because it can still do that. The reasons we have new computer equipment is because it can be done better and faster...

I've used it but only cause it has built in support for PDF1x/a format which is required by some magazine's for submission of color ads. It worked well but was slow as crap.

Not sure what else would be helpful but I wouldn't run out and buy it just yet.

Actually, I use a Mac. And I still use Photoshop 4 so I'm just a freak. But you do an awful lot with Photoshop 4. Hell, I've done plenty of covers with Photoshop 4 including this one:

It's not always the tools but how you use them.
