Realms of Evil Games Publishing is looking for a person experienced in layout for our PDF adventure line and for the Stygian e-zine. We got some pretty positive reviews on the last issue of the Stygian, but one of the negative comments was that the layout simply wasn't pleasing enough. We want to correct this by bringing some new blood on staff with the knowledge (and hopefully the programs) of creating an excellent layout for PDFs.
Work done on the Stygian is a labor of love and those who write, illustrate, edit, etc. get no actual payment for doing so. This is a community project that over 50 people are currently working on and all of them gain nothing except a sense of pride for a job well done. However, much of this hard work is being looked over because the layout that my main editor and I provide just isn't up to par with the writing and art for the e-zine. We are hoping to correct that by bringing a few talented individuals on staff with the ability to forge the art and the writing into a true masterpiece of PDF products.
Keep in mind that RoEG Publishing uses the Stygian as a training ground for its writers and artists as a test to see how well they perform under the stress of a deadline and all who write for the e-zine are considered for paying jobs with our books and other product lines. The layout artist who is accepted by RoEG to work in the Stygian will also be offered a job as a layout specialist in the near future for the super-secret adventure line that is being written even now
