It's that time already! d20Zine! is looking for people who have great ideas about gaming and want to see them published. We are accepting article submissions for the next issue. This is your opportunity to develop or write something that makes the gaming community notice your skills.
If you have an article you want to see published, send it to Steve at ghost.wind@verizon.net with the subject header "d20Zine! Submission" no later than August 14th. All articles should be compliant with the terms of the Open Gaming License, complete with notations that cite any outside sources. See our Writers Guidelines in the Downloads section of the site for further information.
"I am he who rules the world, don't you know? One little piece at a time. I am the stuff of Riordan Parnell's most outrageous songs, and I am a confused memory for those whose lives I've entered and departed." -- Jarlaxle, Road of the Patriarch
I'd just like to chime in with some accolades for Steve's d20Zine!. There's always a great amount of material to look through (great both in page number and quality). No matter your d20 taste, you'll find something to whet your gaming whistle in every issue. And the best "selling point"--it's free!
As for contributing, it's really a great way to stretch one's creative muscles without the overbearingness of dealing with big companies. Speaking as a freelance writer, I have enjoyed the small amount of work I've submitted to the zine. Besides the creative msucle-stretching, it gives me the chance to do something I want to do in the d20 world; not a tightly-focused topic given by a publisher who wants no variations on the theme.
So, thanks Steve and the d20Zine! crew for the hard work!

Steve,
I know I'm already probably known by alot of people, many of which of really would prefer not to know me... , but I may be interested still in sending something your way...
I've got an article idea that involves the use of language...
(its clean, despite how that sounded. )

Do have one question... I know that you want material that has never been published... no problem there... but upon publishing do you hold the rights or allow the material to be fully Open Gaming Content?
I prefer to see my work become 100% OGC myself....

I try to make it all OGC, but the copyright is held by the author. I took the "Tome of Horrors" approach to section 15 this time around (see the June/July issue).
