2e and 3e Available?

Ok, a question for you all.

Mostly, when a new edition comes out, the distributors don't keep the old edition around, and pretty much chuck it.

When M&M3e is released, should 2nd edition be kept on the site as well, so people can download either one they want?

I'd say keep it around, but just stick it in the core rules download section, or somewhere else, like a "2e core rules download" spot. That way, it's around and can be found if you look for it a little bit, but it isn't taking up all the new edition's space.

I agree with GnomeWorks. With his idea, the 2E version is still there for those who really want it, but it does not block the current version of M&M.

I am leaning towards this idea, of keeping both editions

However, if the only edition is the new one, then it might convince people who like the old one to stick with the new

True - but you also run the risk of losing people because of the change. For instance, I really liked M&M2e when I found it - but what if I don't like MM3e, and 2e is no longer on the site? I'll either, 1) whip out the core rules .pdf which is on my machine and not bother with the site anymore, or 2) quit playing the game entirely. This is not a prob if people like 3e, but if some don't, then you'll probably lose some people.
