(Adventure) Retrieval of Fallon's Key (Macbeth Judging)
Outside of the stables is the normal doors to the stables, as well as the stabble hands ready to take or get the horses of those visiting the Red Dragon Inn, but besides these, you see the small elvish lad who had given the anouncement in the inn. He seems to have regained his composure, and breath as he stands to greet you.
"Hello! I'm glad you decided to help! Before I call for our traspertation, are there any questions you would like to ask before comiting to this quest?" He looks rather pleased withhimself, until a blush comes to his cheeks, then a look of shyness crosses his face as he faces the adventurers, who though may not have lived as long as him has certainly experienced more!

Rogier walks around the stable-area, trying to find someone who can inform him on his task. Seeing the young lad, he greets him. "I am Rogier, a Paladin of Hyrag, and I read a note in the Red Dragon Inn about some itemretrieval? If so, I am here to aid you.
"The only thing I need to know is that this quest does not cross the code I pledged true to when I began my life as a Paladin. I can not aid you if your intentions, or any of my the ones I travel with, are Evil. I have been granted the ability to see the true nature of people, and when their hearts are not pure, I must decline."
[OoC: Detecting Evil on the boy and any member who joins the group. If one is spotted as Evil, Rogier will give the party and the lad the choice by dismissing the other person or Rogier. If none show up Evil, it's no prob.]

Rodger looks at the boy, studying him and feels confident that the shy lad is not evil, though he IS nervous.
THe boy takes a second to answer, but when he does it seems very elequint. "It's an honor to meet you, Sir Rogier." The boy gives a well practiced bow to the paladin, though maybe a touch too deep. "I asure you that the retrieval of this odject will only be of benifit to the citizens of Fallon. This quest is being given with that ideal in mind, and no other." The small boy seems to loose his shyness for a second as a cunning smile creeps on his face when he adds "Your honor will not be blemished for taking or completing this task, though it may be if you fail to try."

Iggy bows to Rogier. "Greetings, I met some friends of yours in the tavern. They will be joining us shortly. Very nice to meet you."
Then to the elf:
"Greetings, young sir. I am Ignatious O'Reilly, recently graduated from the Academy of the Chromatic Order in Tharol. I would like to put myself at the service of the wizards of Fallon. What is your name? I assume you'll fill us in on the general details of the quest when everyone arrives, but can you give us any more information on the local sponsoring wizards of this quest. I'm very interested in the local wizardry establishment."
Following only a few minutes behind the halfling is Sebastian. Who stops and nods to all.
"Good day Sir Rogier, I saw you when you first arrived at the inn. I'm Sebastian Slingfellow. I'm sure our paths in life are not the same, but I think we should be able to work together."
Waits to see if Rogire has anything to say once he "looks" him over.
Iggy and Subastian enter the stable yard to find the elven boy and Rogier talking.
"Greetings, I met some friends of yours in the tavern. They will be joining us shortly. Very nice to meet you.", the halfling diviner says with a bow. Rogier, looking over the halfling, can detect no malice in his aura, and feels safe to travel with him.
Sabastian, on the other hand... looking over his aura, the paladin is surprised. Here is one of the few souls that are not fixed in their attitudes and morals. Yes, right now he seems to be inclined slightly towards evil, but the paladin sees that the man's environment may influence that behavior... and purhaps Rogier can provide a possitive environment to shift him back to the right way of things. This may be an opertunity! Then again, if Sebastian does turn out to be hopeless, purhaps Rogier can help those the man has hurt and bring him to justice.
"Good day Sir Rogier, I saw you when you first arrived at the inn. I'm Sebastian Slingfellow. I'm sure our paths in life are not the same, but I think we should be able to work together." He seems to be waiting for Rogier's approval.
Mean while, Iggy says ""Greetings, young sir. I'm very interested in the local wizardry establishment." to the elven lad, who returns the greeting to the halfing by bowing to the slightly shorter demi-human.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Ignatious O'Reilly. I am called Eldendrel H'unnett, though I'm speaking for my father, Mithreander. As for the details of the quest, I'll leave that to my father, once we arrive in Fallon. As for the sponcering Wizards... well, it's only my father who would be sponcering you, for his actions are not the actions of the Councel. As for your interest in the wizards of Fallon, if you havenot heard of them, you will be impressed when we finnaly reach Fallon."

Rogier frowns after seeing the darkened side of Sebastian's aura. Seeing how the aura is rather shadowed than dark, there is a chance to retrieve this man from the Evil path, back onto the way of Good. Rogier drops his frown and even smiles faintly.
"Sebastian, Ignatious, it is a pleasure to meet you. I hope we will be able to get along quite fine, which I think will not be a huge problem. Does any of you know how many people will join us? I left the Inn quite early as I had some small tasks to do before I left town."
Turning to Eldendrel, Rogier asks:
"What will be our means of transportation? By foot or by horse? Or even by magic?"
Eldendrel turns to the paladin ansd says "My fathers magic is powerful, but has it's limits... and he does not always like to use it. He will be providing the transpertation however in the means of mounts. Probably griffons. If that is the case, then it will be a full 4 days flight from here to Fallon." The small elven boy shrugs and continues. "I hop ehtat his does not deture you from joining this quest, and if it does, let me know now, and I can request for a different means of transpertation." The shyness of the boy once more seems to disappear as he's talking to the paladin, as if he had been well schooled in what exactly to say.

Sebastian stands quitely waiting to see if Sir Rogier has anything to say.
When he does not and turns to speak to the elven boy, Sebastian relaxes a little and turns to wait for Eldendrel's reply as he does not currently have a horse.
"I do belive Llolian should be joining us soon, and perhaps Sara? Do you you if she was interested Iggy?
With a look of surprise on his face, "griffons you say. this should be an interesting adventure indeed. "
Stepping back a little Sebastian is trying to imagine himself flying over the lands on the back of a magical beast. A small smile creeps across his face as he does.
"I hope the others get here soon, as so we do not have to keep you father waiting."
Elendrel looks to Sebastian and says "There is still quite a bit of the hour remaining... I'm sure if she is interested, she'll show up soon." he says with a confidence that seems strange from a boy his... age. Then again, he is elven, so his youth can be deceptive.
Then his nerveousness returns as he agrees with the green eyed rogue. "Yes, I do not like the prospect of keeping my father waiting myself."

"Gryphons you say... Now that's a kind of mount you don't see every day." Looking up, at the sky, Rogier pictures himself riding such a gryphon, high in the sky, flying freely among the clouds. "I must admit that's quite exciting." He grins as he puts his backpack down and sits next to it. "Now for the others to arrive."
Serene Wind arrives running nimbly from the tavern following Sebastian, then he bows in his unusual way to the young elf and the other adventurers.
"I am Serene Wind, from Roaring Waters monastery. Can I offer my company and help?"
He straightens up to look curiously at the others, noticing how different his simple clothes and gear seem from theirs.
Sara arrives downing one mug and beginning on the second in her hand. "Joe had already checked these off and I didn't want to miss them... Not certain about the hops in that last one..." She nods politely to the elven child, and grins at the others. "Doubletrouble Sara, at your service. Great with a sword but not so expereinced in the saddle, so if we really are going to be riding griffons, you better put me with someone who doesn't mind grabby hands." She laughs and knocks back the last of her drink, then returns to the flaming sword discussion with iggy...
(ooc : Since sara is neither a cleric nor an outsider, there is nothing about her that a detect evil spell can tell.)

OoC: Detect evil does not only work on planar or apsolute evils, nor does it work only on intentions of the moment like in 2nd edition. I've noted the lack of an alignment on your character sheet, Kahuna, but if Sara is nutral, chaotic or lawful evil, the paladin WILL be able to tell.
Janos, I'll wait for your entry before continuing, but please hurry. I do not want to wait to long to get this started. THanks!

[OoC: As Thebis-Ra is Evil, this might take a couple of posts to solve though. Detect Evil does indeed detect anyone with Evil alignment, unless hidden with magical means.]
Llolian comes running around the corner, halting just before the group.
"Hope I'm not too late - I was working on some, er, techniques!" he says. "I heard most of what you said earlier. Griffons! This will be interesting! I look forward to meeting Fallon."
Iggy greets everyone politely. "Sara," he whispers softly, frowning a bit as he detects the fumes on her breath. "I know nothing about flying either, but you are welcome to share my mount. You probably shouldn't drink & fly."

Sebastian turns to see Llolian arrive. "Glad to see you made it, I was begining to wonder if you had decided to go for the rumors in the forest instead."
Turning to look at Elendrel, "So with Iggy, Sir Rogier, Sara, Wind, Llolian, myself and a yet unknown person that makes seven for your fathers quest, will this suffice?"
