Pale Goblin Sharpshooter (Lvl 2)
Demons, Daemons, Damiens, Doe-men, and so forth

OK, silly title thread but bear with me.

I know that in the old days there were Demons and Daemons and the difference between them were primarily their planes of origin and secondarily their alignments (which was really just a quicker way to tell them apart).

Now (since second edition) the have Yugoloths, Tana'ri and Baatezu.

My question are:

Are those all of the types or am I missing out on some?
Which correlate to which and what were the alignments correlations?

Thanks in advance.

Um, I know this is a somewhat stupid question, but, which plane does the demodands/gehreleths come form?

I know the tanar'ri come from the abyss, the yugoloths from hades (originally), and the baatezu from the nine hells. But the gehreleths?

after consulting the magic 8 ball, i'd say, "answer hazy, try again."

but, after giving it some thought, i seem to remember they were from tarterus/carceri.

Well, yeah. I grew up on Planescape though. Before that I knew nothing about the planes.
