Fridas 4ed character illustrations.

Hello everyone

I always illustrate every character I play with sooner or later. I thought it would be a neat idea to collect all of my 4ed characters in this thread for everyone to see.

The first one is Fushia. She is a starpact warlock, a noble woman and a bit insane. Nevermind the dog.

Next character is Virelai, she is an Eladrin fighter. She got banished from the Feywild as a punishment for treason.

Then we have Liv a half elven paladin of the Raven queen.

The last portrait for now is of Ingrid, a human ranger. She is a reformed criminal.

I also play a halfling rogue called Tweak, but so far I havnt drawn a picture of her that I am happy with.

These are drawn with a HB graphite pencil. The full figured portrait of Virelai and the closeup of Liv have also been coloured in photoshop. I have also used a bit of photo textures on those.

Heres another one. This character belong to a member of our roleplaying group. Her name is Kurelie, she is an Eladrin Tempest fighter.

I love the raven helmet. Every time I see threads like this it makes me lament the fact that I can't draw much more than a glorified stick figure.

Right on! Very good work. You have a nice traditional looking style, quite moody. I really love the Raven Queen's Paladin, the armor and the feathers especially. I for one can't wait to see more.

I´m going to paint Ingrid and Kurelie as soon as I get my drawing tablet to work again (or buy a new one). I have a roleplaying weekend coming up so I will probably start on another character drawing this weekend.

Hello everyone

Not much going on here. I still don´t have a tablet so that means no paintings.

I have done some sketches of a new character though, A gnome wizard. I have done a few body studies because I wanted something different from the usual human anatomy.

I suppose that she is a bit inspired by the Gelflings.

I have also done some simple portraits of the characters in one of our campaigns. Theres Haru a sly eladrin rogue and Glim a noble eladrin ranger. They are cousins. Although Haru died in the last session.

Next character is Skugga a young assassin disguised as a ministrel.

There are two characters missing that will be added later. Harus replacement character Olaf the fighter and the mighty warlock Aeron.

Simply Awesome!

This is exactly the kind of style that I would like to see more of in RPG products.

It reminds me a lot of the pencil drawings that Angus McBride did in the old MERP rulebook

Thank you. I like my fantasy to be down to earth. I want my characters to feel like they could be real people.

You do me to much honour to compair my art with Angus McBrides. But I can see what you mean.

His historical pictures are excellent.

So far I havnt played with any new characters. The old ones are still very much alive and no new campaign starts.

However I did this portrait of Skugga as a birthday present for my friend.
