Props: paper techniques

Wasn't sure if this is the right place or not for discussion of RPG props/handouts design... If i'm in the wrong place let me know

Just thought I'd share this:
My players have just recently become official bounty hunters... by "official" I mean that they are authorised by the local government to hunt not only outlaws for reward but also anyone held in contempt of court (there's a court system here... not something I've seen much of in D&D).

Here's a bit of the process I used...
Soaking paper in warm black tea

Drying them on a mesh screen with a hairdyer

Applied sealing wax for proof of validity from the noble

Full stack of 'em

Anyway, I'm interested in some feedback, constructive criticism, and sharing of other techniques used to make parchment-looking paper. I wanted to use something more vellum-like but this is great on a tight budget. (=

I don't have any techniques or anything to offer, but I do want to give you mad props (pun intended )for the extent you go to for player hand-outs. Those hand-outs look great!

Thanks! I like a story driven game so anything that helps my players feel like they are a part of the story is worth my time.

Nice props. Handouts always add to the game.

Gave them out tonight. Both the characters and their players were impressed (=
Always fun to make the game a bit more real.
