In an effort to expand our existing product line with more varied resources, we will now accept submissions for new products. We are looking for the following types of products:
Supplemental resources for the
Neiyar: Land of Heaven and the Abyss d20 campaign setting, with a particular interest in scaleable modules and mini-adventures. A strong familiarity with the setting is vital. Before submitting finished product, query first. In your query, please include your name and contact information, a brief summary of your concept, and a writing sample.
Supplemental material for low-magic and no-magic settings. The world is full of spell books, wondrous item collections, and weird monsters. We are looking for more unique but mundane items and ideas that could be valuable to players. For ideas as to the types of products we are interested in, see our
Encyclopedia of Skill Lore or
The Manipulative Player's Guide to Sympathetic Magic. Submissions under 5000 words can be submitted as a .doc attachment to our articles department. Include the words "RPG submission attached" in your subject line to insure that spam blocking software does not reject your submission. Ideas over 5000 words, please query to our articles department first.
GM Supplemental materials: In January, we will launch a new series of supplements designed for GMs. Each product in the series will feature 12 examples of a type of location with full descriptions, NPCs, and mini-adventures. The first product,
Adventure Havens: Tavern Tales, will feature 12 fully-developed taverns and Inns that can be used in any fantasy setting. We are interested in developing similar products for ships, temples, shops, schools, and various other types of locations.
To be considered for the series, query our articles department with your name, a short bio, and writing samples. To submit ideas for other types of GM supplemental materials, follow submission guidelines as above.
Payment:
RPG products will be paid on a commission base as follows:
General supplemental materials:
15% commission payable on net profits through all sales sources or
35% commission payable on net profits through all sales sources if submission includes illustrations.
Neiyar materials/GM supplemental series:
20% commission payable on the net profits through all sales sources or
40% commission payable on the net profits through all sales sources if the submission includes illustrations
The details of payment, work required, copyrights, etc will be spelled out in a formal agreement between the parties once submission is accepted. Commission percentages are non-negotiable.
