What Happened to Metallic Dragons?

You know, I just finished reading the dragons entry in the 4e MM, and came to realize something; there are no metallic dragons. They said in Monsters and Worlds that there would be two new kinds. Though, not that many people liked metallic dragons, but it seems to be breaking some sort of ancestral law. I don't really care, but I will expect them in MM2.

I think Dragons are popular/common enough that eventually, we'll see too many Dragons and Dragon variants before we're done. I think I remember reading that there's going to be an entire book for Chromatic Dragons and one for Metallic later anyway, so we'll get plenty when that book comes out.

As for the Metallic in the 1st MM, no real loss for me [I rarely add Dragons in anyway] since all I'd do is find an appropriate Dragon as close as possible, change the color, if necessary change the flavor of the breath weapon, change Alignment to Good and bam, I got the Dragon I need.
