Groblins: A Race Of My Very Own Part 1
Currently, I am working on a creature for my campaign called a Groblin. This is my first Groblin.
Groblin Scout--Level 3 Lurker
Small Natural Humanoid--xp 150
Initiative +8----------Skills Bonuses: Sneak +2 Climb +4
Hp: 24 Ac: 17 Ref: 15 Will: 15 For: 13
Slingshot (standard at-will) +8 1d6+3 10 Sq.
Claws (Standard at-will) +4 1d6+3
Special ammo
Gogs: target takes 1d4 per round, save ends.
Smoke bomb: Blast 3 up to 10 Sq. all creatures in blast range are stunned for 2 rounds.
Ability Scores: Str 14 Dex 17 Wis 14 Int 12
Cha 12 Con 14
Fluff: Groblins live in jungles. They look like small humans except they are green, have a circular mouth with teeth all around the inside of it, and have three eyes on each side of their face.

Slingshots? d10 damage? Really?
I've done my share of slingshot archery. With today's best technology and a nice perfectly sized lead shot, you have next to no chance of killing a person with a slingshot (strikes to the temple are about it).
Slings (the kind with two strings that you whip around in a circle and release) can fire much larger rocks/bullets and can actually kill (and have been used in military applications for centuries).
How did you come up with 1d10 for a slingshot? That's the same damage as a long bow.Posted 29th August 2008 at 04:43 AM by grickherder
