Get set, Go.

I didn't post on the character creation session. It went OK. there were a few hicups and the session ended at a reasonable hour. Wife says if they all go like that there's no problem gaming every weekend. We ended by starting the Preview adventure in the DMG (the same one as PREV1). We got through 2 encounters in an hour.

Well for our first play session even more people showed up, we had 2 small tables in play with 4 players each. the other table had a TPK in the last encounter mine finished with no real problems. We played WATE1-1.

Turns out the other table played high and we had played low. The Warforged fighter was impressive with his +8 to intimidate, "I put my hands around his neck and lift him off the floor to intimidate him into telling us what we want to know." that will make short work of the skill chalenge for you. The TPK occured because the wizard jumped out the window and failed to grab the rope on the way down splat 1d10, oh your prone in front of the guard drakes thats d10+10 times 2 wizard is dead. Next. the arcanist went sneak and dazed the rest of the party one by one. Blast, move, stealth, uht oh. My table had none of that, they evaded the drakes and the sneaky guys were taken out in short order.

It was good and one of the players said I want more. (I think he would have put his hands around my neck if he thought it would have intimidated me) I explained how reporting works and what needs to be done, I even invited him to run his own. he considered it, we'll see.

I need more sign up cards, I had 6 needed 8. I forgot the story awards slips, I should of had more handouts printed and so on. Little trival stuff that can be accounted for. Next time.

My gaming group is going for home play of Living Forgotten Realms. I'll be posting here about that.

So far even getting them to respond to email has been a pain. I have to revert to calling to get them to respond.
