A New EN World Demands A New Blogger

Posted 27th June 2008 at 06:58 AM by Kaodi (Kaodi's Unimaginatively Named EN World Blog)
Yes, I know. Starting a blog just because the option is there (and all NEW! and SHINY!) is perhaps not the most inspiring of reasons, but hey, whatever. I have never actually wrote on a blog before, so this is a first for me.

I would like to congratulate, and heartily thank, MLM (aka Michael Morris) for a job well done. I have know him for quite online though we have never met in person, dating back to TSR Chat (I think, it has been a long time!). He has always been a good guy, and he deserves our gratitude.

This makes a short list of rather memorable events in the history of this online community for me, starting with when I was introduced to Eric Noah's site back in 1999/2000 (I forget which, but it was a while before the launch of 3e), then transition to EN World, the Great Crash of 2002, and now this. There are several that others might add that were not as apparent for me, I guess.

In any case, perhaps if I keep at this blog stuff some of my later entries will look better, be spellchecked and a little more... bloggy, but for now I think this serves as a decent test, and a completely shameless attempt to score one of the first entries, .
