I mistakenly had the comments disallowed on the previous blog posts, so all who were just itching to comment, please post comments on previous posts to this post. Thanks.

Hey I can comment now. So here's what I posted in the OOC: I feel no special need to return to the academy. I'm perfectly happy to continue with the threads we already have going. We have a Drow Wizard's tomb to find, an entrance to the underdark handy, a mystery door in the basement of an inn and some orcs with invasion on their minds. Any of that could be fun to explore. I was working from the assumption that the orcs would be the next challenge.

As for the current game, I hadn't planned on going much further. I was going to have Kerlan make sure that this really was the way to the Underdark, and then try to block it off to keep others from using it any more, especially if there is anything else down there. I don't know if we could handle much else. We should probably go back to Pembrose and recharge because we still have a Gelatinous Cube to deal with, then we can look into the Underdark entrance.

Yes, Scotley, I remember seeing this OOC post a while back. And, each of the items that you mention is fertile ground for more adventuring. You might want to give Magus Crus a message to pass on to your professors to let them know that your return may be a bit delayed. (He might even see if they'll give you some 'independent study' credit for your current activities.) And the White Fist Orcs could be the next challenge, but there are certainly plenty of challenges that are closer to your present position! Do you even know where to find the White Fist Orcs? Hmmm?

Kerlan, block off an entrance to the Underdark? Do you remember the story about the little dutch boy who tried to plug up a hole in a dike by sticking his finger in it? But, maybe you have some good ideas on how to accomplish this! Go for it!

Yeah, the idea you got from Lord Kyle was that he hoped to do just that. Maybe with "Reserve Commissions" in the force to defend it for the liberating wizards? But you'd still have plenty of time for other pursuits, and an expedition into the Underdark from there could be a sanctioned, paid undertaking, possibly?

Hey, wait a minute! That makes TWO entrances to the Underdark that you've found so far! One under the Hobgoblin keep, and one behind Boris's "Mysterious Door." Hmmm, how many more do you suppose there could be around here? Think these two that you've found hook up anywhere reasonably close by? Still no word on where the White Fist Orcs may be, but can they really be THAT hard to find?
