I read the OP's initial post and I have to say he pretty much sums up my opinions on 4e and how I like it but not as much as 3.5/PRPG. Give it a read if you're not a fanatic for either side of the fence.

Interesting post; I pretty much agree with it, to boot. For me, the #1 issue with 4e (despite all the great stuff in there) is the seeming difficulty of backward compatibility (and forward, for that matter - trying to tweak a 4e adventure to run in 3.x would be more trouble than it was worth).Posted 11th October 2008 at 10:46 PM by VectorSigma
