List of Stuff I Want to See in my 4Eberron Game
Posted 13th July 2008 at 06:27 AM by stonegod
Driving back from Memphis the other day (its a long drive) gave me ample time to think of stuff for my planned (and still unnamed) Eberron 4E game (though none of it is 4E specific). Here's the lists as it stands today.
- Characters are hired by the Twelve to go to Xen'drik (not main fiddles; they're 1st?)
- Ice block w/ giant talon
- Primitive warforged guarding something (?)
- Giant ruins
- Two part ritual; defend NPC while its performed
- Release something *BIG* (destroys airship)
- Have to put it back together? Other way back?
- Deal with surviving attack on Stormreach: Big skill challenge (too big to fight it directly)
- Sharn air battle (taxi; airsleds; etc.)
- Zombies
- Imprisoned with trapped ghoul that they don't know until later
- Others?
Any other fun thoughts from the peanut gallery? Run something similar?

Well it sounds like a Sharn Jump to Xen'drik for Giant relic hunting that might go awry and end up with the PCs falling through a portal and being lost in the wilds, but perhaps finding some ancient civilization/society that they can buy stuff from (a great way to do the 'points of light' that 4E touts).
The eB game I'm currently running (Play by eMail for the last few years) is heading towards the group discovering the lost tomb of Death's Mark. That is, an ages old long dead elven necromancer's tomb who was on of the first to manifest and then study the Dragonmark of Death.
I totally dig where you're going though! Good luck with the game, which I could join in!

It sounds good, I like the zombies (I'm a sucker for them) especially as early encounters. It seems that there's a few undead concepts there so it might be something like the Age of Worms, in that the heroes are battling against undead enemies (they could unleash either an ancient god of death or powerful necrotic elemental [if such a thing exists] or death giant [advanced or adding templates]?)Posted 21st July 2008 at 07:52 PM by renau1g

My last campaign in Eberron was AoW, so I'm trying to go away from as much undead. Not no undead, just less so.

Sounds like fun! I'm starting a 4e Eberron game this week and will be using some sort of connection to the Draconic prophecy. Not sure how, yet, but it'll be fun getting there.Posted 23rd July 2008 at 10:42 PM by Scribe Ineti
