(KS) The Imposters – A Conspiracy Roleplaying Game Anthology

The Imposters is an anthology of seven tabletop and live-action roleplaying games from seven different designers. Some of these games are brand new; some are revised and updated versions of games that have won prestigious indie gaming awards like the ENnies, Golden Cobra, and the 200WordRPG contest. All seven games offer a play experience you've never had before, which is why we think you should back this project now.

This Kickstarter campaign is raising money to pay all nine contributors (seven designers, an editor, and a layout artist) a fair wage. Each contributor is being paid royalties, which means the more we raise, the more each contributor earns. If we pass our initial goal, we will add additional art and game content as stretch goals to thank you for your support. Our first stretch goal is additional illustration by designer/artist Tim Hutchings.

Jay Sylvano has almost finished laying out this beautiful, full-color 50+ page book. The Imposters contains a variety of conspiracy-themed games like a TV-inspired supernatural rpg set at a funeral, a larp about secret meetings of conspiracy theorists, and even a psychogeography larp. Players do not need previous experience with these genres or play styles in order to play.

The book contains:
· Introduction by editor Jeremy Morgan
· They're Onto Me by Banana Chan: a solo larp about paranoia and aliens, played over video apps like Youtube
· The Meet by Alex Carlson: a parlor larp about conspiracy theorists conducting secret meetings while surrounded by the public
· LOVEINT by Nick Wedig: a freeform rpg about a community of melodramatic NSA officers
· The Thought Police by James Mullen: a distopian rpg about psychic citizens in a police state that hunts them
· The Light of Day by Todd Crapper: a tabletop rpg about rebellious intelligence officers trying to leak information to the public
· The Way of All Flesh by Josh T. Jordan: a freeform supernatural rpg set at the funeral of a federal agent who investigated werewolves
· Field Notes 23 by Tim Hutchings: a psychogeography larp that incorporates sketching and journaling

The Imposters by Josh Jordan is running on Kickstarter until Thursday 11th May.
