  • It's Some More STAR TREK Minis - This Time The Romulans!

Modiphius has sent along a preview of some more of their upcoming Star Trek miniatures, along with some art from the tabletop roleplaying game. Both focus on the Romulans. There are currently four miniature sets lined up - The Original Series Crew, The Next Generation Crew, Klingons and Romulans. They’ll be available with the Star Trek Adventures pre-order which launches June 8. Also, check out the Original Series and Next Generation bridge crews here.

Looks like middle left received a swift kick in the romulans.

Interesting that they went with all TNG Romulans rather than a mix of TOS and TNG.

They did the original and Next Generation bridge crews. Maybe they have a ToS Romulan set coming. Or is their miniature line going to be limited in numbers?

I'm going to guess limited in numbers. Top right and bottom left are the same female Romulan but from a different angle. Same for top middle and bottom right.

Some TOS Romulans would be nice too.

Yes, that's a shame. They didn't need the padded forehead treatment.

Guess Romulans in this game don't do anything but shoot stuff. At least a few of the Federation minis had non-weapon devices in their hands.

Their minis look great...AND they are ridiculously expensive, coming in at over $50 for 8 of them. Modiphius is getting beaten up pretty badly over their prices on their site's product reviews, too.

If you are interested in a lower priced alternative, then you should check out David Okum's free papercraft minis that he did up for a Microlite game of Where No Man Has Gone Before: http://cardboard-warriors.proboards....ere-man-before
